Christmas joy

Evening peeps,  how is everyone doing, hope no one gas been caught up in the terrible flooding that has been occurring across the country.  Our road was closed for a couple of days and luckily the water didn't creep anywhere never the house.  I have just been caught up in the commuter traffic with the Forth Road Bridge being closed, what usually is an half hour journey is turning into an over an hour journey.  But hey-ho, can't complain, I just get to sing like a wailing cat in the cat for longer...lol.

I was asked to make this card for a wee boy that loves his cars, so I adapted this Lili of the Valley stamped image to suit.  I made my own tree decorated with tinsel ribbon and gems.  The diecut snowflakes are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

My Embossing Dis-a-ster Darling

Afternoon peeps, I am hoping you can suggest what I have done wrong as all my sparkle embossing is falling off.  I can only thing I can think of is that I didn't keep my heat gun on it long enough?

It is such a shame as I thought it had so much potential, lol.  The super cute image is from Lili of the Valley.  My baubles die cuts are from Marianne Creations (and they seem to have embossed okay). The two embossing folders used were my snowflake and wood effect ones.  Lace, ribbon and pearls are from stash.  The challenges covered:-

Gone Fishin'

It's a glorious sunny Sunday morning, though a tad chilly here is Cental Scotland.  I had a wonderful birthday yesterday and was spoilt rotten - even had a birthday cake! ....  Back to normality today with the boring housework and jobs around the house and garden - and hopefully a wee bit of crafting this afternoon at my table while the football and Grand Prix is on.

This card I was asked to make by the Fleet Manager at work for his brother, the remit was he liked fishing and that he tells everyone he is 53 rather than he is coming up 60.  I used a Bugaboo digi stamp image.  I. Hilt the scene up by using different papers and embossing folders.  Decorated with peel offs and punches.  Hidden under the big fish has 60 written.  The challenges covered are:-
