We will, we will Rock You!

Evening folks, my neck and shoulders are feeling a bit better, topping myself up on painkillers, I think is helping, though, now starting to get a sore throat... boo..  Sneaking on for a quick post before I do cease up again.  This Edwin image has been sitting coloured for ages in my craft drawer so I took pity on my and gave him a good home on this card.  The backing paper is from a unknown paperback.  Embellishments are an old CD, a record diecut, sticky ribbon, guitar sticker, peel offs and card candi.  The challenges covered are:-

Run rabbit, run rabbit, run run run

Evening peeps, apologises for not being on recently, my neck and shoulders are playing up again so it is hard to get in the mood to create.  I had made this card at the weekend for my Auntie, she had kindly knitted and donated some bunny rabbits and a scarecrow to The Brionni Trust for us to sell on our stall.  The cute wee bunnies she had done gave me the inspiration for this card, so I dug out my Sugar Nellies stamps and hunted for this image.  The backing paper is a freebie from a magazine.  The picket fence is a diecut from Marieanne Creatables (there is a different story .... lol..). Tools used are my oval scalloped Nesties and Swiss dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Life is like a Butterfly ....

Morning folks,  hope everyone is having a good weekend.  The weather today is slightly better, it was a shame yesterday that the charity day got cancelled because of it, fingers crossed it gets rescheduled for another day soon.

This is a commissioned card I was asked to make with a vintage theme.  I must admit, doing this style of card is totally out of my comfort zone and takes me forever to make after my fussing about... Lol.. The backing card is from Kanban.  The butterfly diecut is a Marieanne Creatable.  The flowers and pearly beady things are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Large sentiment is one from docrafts, the lace, rub on sentiment and gems are from stash.  The tools used are chalk inks and  scalloped square, oval nesties and square labels.  The challenges covered are:-

Seashell Sanctuary

Afternoon peeps, sneaking on again today - shhhh! Don't tell you know you .... Now it was just yesterday that I spoke about me being a wee bit accident prone and so far it had been a non eventful year in that sense...well .... I spoke to soon ... This morning I noticed that the tiny tear in the kitchen limo had got a bit bigger and putting my DIY hat on thought I had nothing better to do than "fix it". My bright idea was to glue it down flat and that would be problem solved .... not quite, I forgot how quickly super glue works and so very nearly, and I mean very nearly stuck myself to the tube and the limo.  Now the floor has a ripple it! ..... my finger tips feel so weird with a rough layer of glue on them

These clear shell stamps are in my stash but not sure who they are from.  The corrugated card is from scrap drawer and the string, seashells and charm out of my stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Baby Baby

Evening peeps.  Nothing really exciting to report since I was last on, just that the good weather has disappeared for the moment, fingers crossed  Mr Sunshine makes an appearance at least once more before the summer it out.  Oh ..... And for the peeps that know me all too well, I have had another accident prove moment, I went to put my feet up on the reclining chair in the living room and it broke!  Oops .... That's not bad, I think this the first item I have broke in 2013

The sweet Forever Friends image is one of their 3D elements,  the backing paper is from a very very old paperback from Papermania.  The sentiment, sticky ribbon are from stash.  Tools used are my circle Nesties and Martha Stewart border punch.  The challenges covered today are:-
