Christmas Time ....

...... Eeek! .... can't get Sir Cliff Richard out my head now I've typed that!  It's amazing what pops in and out of my wee noggin somethings .. in fact ... you are better not knowing ... alot of the time in there are just bumble bees flying about

Hope you are all having a lovely weekend so far.  Our's didn't start off too well as last night the upstairs bathroom decided to leak into the kitchen below, and after Barry has torn most of the wood  panelling out and the kitchen ceiling now looking like a pin cushion with exploratory drill holes, we are none the wiser where the mini waterfall came from - It's a mystery!  (that's a bit better, out with Sir Cliff and in with Toyah....hehehe).

The charming image is from Lili of the Valley, decorated with lots of Stickles.  Design Papers are, I think, from Trimcraft.  Snowflake ribbon from Tesco's.  Diecut Snowflake is a Marianne Creatables with a snowflake brad from stash poked through the middle - Oh, and my snowflake embossing folder used also, how could I forget!  The challenges covered are:-

SECC Goodies

Well I have had a wonderful day through in Glasgow spending loads and loads of pennies (sssh! don't tell Barry  and got some smashing bargains.  I went with a list written and managed to get everything bar 2 items plus a few extra treats which were my Marianne Creatables and Oval Diecutters.

As my followers know, I have a wee obsession with embossing folders and as you can see I managed to add another six to my collection.  No rubber stamps though as there was too many to choose from.  Bargain of the day was a Goody Bag from the Craft at Home stand for only £5 - there is loads and loads in it!!!

So I should really head off top my table now and make use of the "must have" purchases of the day.

2nd Post of the day

Afternoon peeps, back again, and yes, I am still home alone - though I don't know for how much longer as Barry is making his way back after his football team got beat.  My ears are prepping themselves ready to hear the "we had so many chances" and the "we should have been 6-0 up at half time" stories, and my head has been practicing to nod intermittently and I'll pipe up a couple of "Yep"s  from time to time and that should cover myself for pretending to be listening  I have mastered the art of this over the years and I am sure alot of you lovely peeps out there know what I'm taking about too!!!!!

This lovely elephant image is called Embrace from Penny Black, it's so cute.  The papers are from The English Paper Co. The circle sentiment stamp is from Lili of The Valley.  Ribbon and doily are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

You're A Star........

.....a .........Good morning peeps,  just practicing my jokes for Halloween.  In Scotland our version of "Trick or Treat" is called "Guising" where we go house to house and we do a poem, joke or song for your reward.  I remember my exploits of guising dressed up - usually a witch - and was very happy if I came away with a hand full of monkey nuts or a satsuma, nowadays they seem to just want money, especially the older ones - I sorted them out one year though, gave them out of date crisps that where in the cupboard - shock, horror - they have not chapped on the door since .... it that cruel???

The image is from Sugar Nellie coloured with Whisper pens, all the coloured card from scrap drawer embossed in different folders and web ribbon from stash.  Circle sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  My feeble attempt of a spider's web was drawn with a silver metallic pen.  The challenges covered are:-
