Baby Card

Afternoon peeps.  Loving my crafting weekend so far and hoping to get a few more cards done this afternoon.  I should get peace and quiet from the couch (Baza's favourite place) as there is an overdose of sport on the TV ...lol.... and as long as I feed & water him every so often I shouldn't hear a peep..hehe.

Since Kirsten, the girl from work has finished-up on her maternity on Friday there, and she goes in hospital on Monday to have the baby, I need to edge my bets to what sex the stork is gonna bring!... lol....   The stamp is from Forever Friends, the tools used are Cuttlebug Embossing Folders and Nesties (Oval & Square), ribbon and brad from stash and sentiment printed off computer.  The challenges covered are:-

A Couple of Challenge Cards

Evening everyone, my mojo is slowly returning and have done a couple of cards using Forever Friends 3D elements.  Papers are from my scrap drawer and ribbon & stars from stash.  The challenges covered on the first card are:-

Forever Friends  -  Anything Goes
Mojo Monday  -  Sketch

This second card is again using the Forever Friends 3D element and I have used the wonderful sketch across at Moving Along With The Times with the added challenge of "Little Teds".  The papers are from DCVW and ribbon again from stash.

Gonna have to start the Christmas wrapping now, just got a few pressies to get and then that's me.  Baz & I are going out for Christmas dinner this year so at least I am not having to do any food shopping....lol.

A Couple of Cards

Afternoon folks, hope all are having a lovely weekend.  I, myself, is just chilling out at my table and hopefully the creative juices are flowing......as well as the wine .........hehehe.

This first card I have used Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy and used the wonderful sketch by Mojo Monday. Tried my hand at some doodling..lol.  Papers are from the English Paper Co. and snowflake diecuts are from Nestabilities - build a snowflake.  The challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend is Christmas with Red, Green & Gold and Stampavie & more is "Christmas".

This card I have used Hamish from Sugar Nellie and copied the sketch from Just Christmas & Birthday Challenge Blog.  Papers are from Dovecraft (I think) and used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The challenge across at My Time to Craft is "Winter Pals" and Paperplay Challenge is Christmas without Red or Green.

....and so I'm back - from outer space........

And it feels like I have been abducted by aliens recently. Time has seemed to evaporated, can't believe the length of time been away from blog land. Laptop has been on the the blink so it is away been fixed so I am on the "Blue Monster" up the stairs and it takes me an eternity to do anything on this. Done a couple of cards and have been a smartypants and included quite a few challenges (luck more than anything else).
Used papers from the English Paper Company, Stamp is Forever Friends, Cuttlebug Christmas Embossing Folder, rest from stash.

Couldn't resist using a Miss Anya today. Backing paper is from the Clare Curd range from Papermania, again rest from stash.
Hopefully popping on again later.

I'm Back - Mojo Monday & ABC

Sorry peeps for not being on for ages - had a lot on. So this is me back at my table and hopefully will be able to create away all day tomorrow. To get me back in the swing of it I have combined the challenges over at Mojo Monday & ABC, their challenges were a sketch and "Two Tone" respectively.

I was supposed to be at a 40th yesterday (Friday) but unfortunately I couldn't make it. So I have made a wee card to post instead. I had used one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie and papers from stash.
Will catch up with everyone soon. Hugs Kaza.xxx

Mojo Monday

Afternoon to everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your Friday and looking forward to the weekend ahead. This is my day off and working over the weekend - Boo Hiss......lol. and boy, had I needed today off, I am totally shattered as been doing long hours in the shop with hardly any breaks. My head feels half asleep still, and that's after about half a dozen coffees......lol.
So I am doing no housework today and want to relax at my table so I have started today with a great sketch over at Mojo Monday. One of the girls at work had asked me a make a 1st Birthday card for a wee boy so I thought the sketch just fitted fine.

The image is, I think, a Stamping Up one which I coloured & then added some 3D gloss over the icing. Backing paper from a Forever Friends Decoupage Kit.
Hopefully I will be back again, if I don't fall asleep on the couch. Hugs Kaza xxx

Evening Peeps - 2 challenges

Evening all in Blogland, hope everyone is well. I must apologise for not being a good blogger at the mo. I promise I will get better, too much other stuff going on. I have managed 2 little cards so far this week and hopefully after posting this I am going to sit and attempt another while watching the footie with a nice glass of red.
My first one is a colour challenge from Magnolia v Stampavie, it is to use Black, White & Red with the option on Grey. Great Combo - especially as I had to do a male 30th Birthday Card for one of my friend's partners who's party we are going to on Saturday - so I will have to be on my best behaviour - Boo Hiss!

I used Edwin which has been lovingly coloured by Lesley & her magic promarkers. The backing papers are from my stash of DCWV papers (which never seem to go down like a peas pudding pot). The photo, I'm afraid, doesn't like my sentiment at the bottom very much but it reads "Celebrate Today".
My next card is for one of my good friend's Laura, who's birthday is only a couple of days after mine. I just could not resist to use one of my new Anya stamps which I HAD to have. I have used the brilliant sketch from Mojo Monday for this one.

Again DCWV papers, a bit of cuttlebug swirl embossing and gems & ribbon from stash.
Sorry it is such a short post and hopefully be back on soon.
Cuddles.
