Birthday Card

Evening peeps, back with a second post of today, only managed to make one card this afternoon, don't know where the time went.  Never made any of the cards that the girls at work have asked me to make either, oh well, I will be busy in the evenings this week making them. lol.

I coloured Tilda with my watercolour paints (they were an amazing bargain at £2.99 from The Works and they are lasting ages). Flowers I got from Poppicrafts and I can't find them anywhere else so I am trying to use the sparingly.  Gem Brads and sentiment are from stash.  The challenges I have made this for are:-

Baza excelled myself today by making the tea - homemade lasagna, baked tattie with butter, coleslaw, sweetcorn and garlic bread - yum, yum, yum!!!!!  best dinner I have had in ages (sitting here typing this with top button of trousers out as I am so  He even did the washing-up as well.  He must be after some-thing so I shall keep you peeps posted with what it is ............... me thinks it is either for a new TV or a

Stampavie & more

Evening peeps, just sneeking in with a quick card I had made for one of the girls that works in one of the other shops, she has been very unwell and in hospital so we are all wishing her well.

I don't know if I have managed to get this in on time with Stampavie & more as their challenge this week was "Get Well Soon".  I used an image from Penny Black and coloured with my watercolour paints.  Flowers and peel-offs are from stash.

Hoping to play at my table with evening as I bought a couple of new punches, paper packs & a stamp up in "Stampaholics" in Perth yesterday while I was waiting on my car being serviced, I had a fabby time in there, it is like an Aladdin's cave.

Mother's Day Card

Back yet again folks, you will all be sick of the sight of me  This is for one of the "mother's" I have to make for.  Heidi across at Moving Along with the Times has done a fabby sketch to follow and it is on a Mum theme.  Also across at Totally Papercrafts the challenge is "Lots of Spots"

Used a Miss Anya stamp from The Greeting Farm, the paper is from scrap pile and rest of stuff is from stash. The sentiment is printed of computer.  Our printer is on the way out so I am hoping to get a new one but I don't know what is best so I can see me getting dragged round all the PC shops by Baza.  He is the shopper in the family - I hate it!!!!  (unless it is for craft stuff ..........or shoes!

Truly Scrumptious

Cupcake Challenge - Keep it Simple

Morning peeps, a beautiful morning here is Central Scotland, the sun is shining in a clear sky and woke to a crisp frost.  The next door neighbour's snow drops are starting to flower - puts me to shame as her garden always looks wonderful where as mine - mmm, less said the

The challenge over at Cupcake Craft Challenge is to "keep it simple".  I have used a Forever Friend element, paper is from Daisy & Dandelion range, stars are from stash as is sentiment.

Hoping to get a few more made today while doing a few housework jobs around the house.

1st Easel Card

Afternoon everyone and I hope you are all having a joyous weekend.  Not been on for a few days as I had no motivation being bunged up with the cold, but I am on the mend now (passed the cold onto Baza  - share & share

I have finally took the plunge and had a go at an easel card, not as bad as I thought it would turn-out to be, maybe should have done another layer of card as it seems to be curling abit.  Used a Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie, papers are from scrap drawer and flowers are from Papermania (which I am gonna get more off 'coz I love them).  This is a commissioned card for a couple who have just adopted a little girl so I hope it is OK.

The challenges I have entered this card into are:-
Going this evening through to Glasgow to see Strictly Come Dancing - Live!, so looking forward to it as we have had the tickets for about a year. Fingers-crossed we have good seats so I can see the dancers silky moves  Going with my friend Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) - a nice romantic evening together

SophistiCats & Simon Says......

Morning my lovely friends, just creeping on with a little card I made last night before I head off to work (Boo hiss).  This is for the challenges at SophistiCats - "Love" and across at Simon Says.... - a photo inspiration challenge.

The Rose backing paper is from DCVW (surprise, surprise lol).  The stamp, I think, is an Anita's stamp, which I put 3D glaze on it.  Also went a bit OTT with my black inking around the edges (red wine effect lol) and popped on some silver card candys on the corner.

See you lovies later on when I get back.

Totally Papercrafts

Evening peeps, hope all of you are having a fabby weekend, I am working the full weekend but off on Monday so not much crafting and blogging getting done I am afraid.  I have however squeezed this little one in for a new challenge blog Totally Papercrafts.  I am joining in on their 2nd challenge which is a recipe - 3 embellishments, 2 papers & 1 image.

I have used one of my favourite stamps, Dressing-up Maggie from Sugar Nellie.  Papers are a mixture of Papermania and DCVW and my three embellies are diecut buttons spruced up with some funky fibres.

Hoping to do a bit more crafting through the week as I have quite a few birthday cards to make for my own family.  Love to you all.

Anyone for Anya? and One Stop Craft Challenge

Evening ladies, hope all is well.  I apologise of the lack of blogging this week, had a bit of a hectic week, don't want to say too much at the moment but it is good news.......... fingers crossed!!!!

This is a card that I have been asked to make for tomorrow so tonight I had to get my butt in gear.  I used the fabulous sketch over at Anyone for Anya? and across at One Stop Craft Challenge it is "Make It Personal".

I coloured the Miss Anya image with my colouring pencils and the sentiment has been printed off on the computer.
