Happy New Year

Well, I failed miserably on Last Years Resolutions, so I am not making any for 2017.  I should know by now, that best made plans often go out the window and the 2016 ones certainly did.

One of the big changes I had in my life last year, was a change of Job.  Still with the same emergency service but a more challenging role, new location and hopefully the prospect of qualifications at the end.  On the down side is that I have less time to craft due to the longer travel time and my brian being pickled with all the new information it is taking on board.  When I have been making cards, that have usually been quick cards and were not good enough to blog.

Over the festive season, I have had chance to relax and play at my table which I have really enjoyed and missed.  Hopefully, going forward, I can find a balance between work, study and play.

Anyway, enough prattling on, this is a card I have made following a few challenges.  The hedgehogs are Penny Black clear stamps with I coloured and added some Stickles to their scarves.  The backing paper is scrap from an old Papermania paperback, sentiment is a Hunkydory one and snowflake is a Sizzix diecut.  Tools used was my snowflake embossing folder. The challenges covered are:-

Christmas in July

Evening peeps, now I'm not going to mention how many weeks it is to Christmas, all I'll say is that it is never to early to start on the Chrimbo cards.

This Anya fairy image from The a Greeting Farm has lain coloured for a while and I have Blinged her up with some diamond stickles on her wings.  The backing paper is from DCVW, I think, and sentiment is from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Oh Baby Baby

Good evening peeps, I have surprised myself by popping back on.  Just sneaking on before dinner and then I am popping out for the evening - I'm heading to the bingo!   Eyes down for a full house and all that ..lol.. I have my dabblers in my bag ready for action.

I love this little baby hedgie stamp by Penny Black, I have used it liars and loads of times over the years.  I had a CAS card to suit the challenge over at CAS-ual Fridays.  Ribbon, tag and brad are from stash.  Tools used are my Nesties and image coloured with paints.  The challenges covered are:-

We will, we will Rock You!

Evening folks, my neck and shoulders are feeling a bit better, topping myself up on painkillers, I think is helping ....lol......, though, now starting to get a sore throat... boo..  Sneaking on for a quick post before I do cease up again.  This Edwin image has been sitting coloured for ages in my craft drawer so I took pity on my and gave him a good home on this card.  The backing paper is from a unknown paperback.  Embellishments are an old CD, a record diecut, sticky ribbon, guitar sticker, peel offs and card candi.  The challenges covered are:-

Mamma Mia

Morning peeps, I'm up fresh as a daisy this morning, after having one of the best sleeps in ages.  Barry is away playing golf so I have peace and quiet.  It is a day of boring housework jobs today  - boo!!!!

This is a large A4 commissioned card I was asked to do.  This super digi image is from Prairie Fairy Designs.  The Italian looking background was made by using colour paper scrap.  My pizza is made using various punches, embossing folder and circle Nesties.  Sentiment was printed off computer.  The challenges covered are:-
