Forever Friends Card

Morning peeps, sneaking on this morning before work to pop on this little Forever Friends male card.  Was up with the lark this morning, sun streaming through the window - it is gorgeous!  - shame I had to be inside working when it is days like this!

These are Forever Friends stickers, quite handy when needing to make a quick card.  The DP are from a Daisy & Dandelion paperpack and I have used the Trophy Sizzix Diecut.  The challenges I have covered on this card are:-
Well, that me heading away, hope you all have a lovely day where you all are...xxxx

Secret Crafter - Wedding/Anniversary

Morning peeps, didn't get as much crafting as I had planned yesterday so hopefully might get some done today, but I am not holding my breath as it is Sunny!!!!! Woo-hoo.

Anyway, what I did do, is made a few Anniversary cards with the same stamp.  Handy, as this weeks challenge across at Secret Crafter is "Wedding/Anniversary".  The stamp is one, I think,  from Anita's, and I popped some 3D gloss on them (though you can't see it in the photos).  Used Cuttlebug 'Swirls' embossing folder on two of the cards.

I tried to used different embellishments on them, just what was in stash pile.  I am trying to build up a wide choice of cards as the girls from work have asked me to bring in some and I hardly have any spare laying around so that is why I am doing some same but different (if that makes any sense!?#!) ones.

It's the Weekend again!

Morning to everyone!  Looking forward to a sunny weekend and while I am waiting for the sun to come out from behind the clouds I thought I'd better pop this card on. lol.

The image is from a Miss Anya range from The Greeting Farm.  Papers are from DCVW which I have had for yonks (think they are actually from the very first paperpack I bought!).  Flowers, ribbon, brads are from stash.  Sentiment is printed off PC.  The challenges I have entered this card in are:-
Barry is playing golf this morning and then of course the World Cup is on this afternoon (and evening)on the TV,  and then the US Open (Golf) so I can see me doing a bit of crafting at my table today!!!!! - It's a hard life ....lol. but someone has to do it!!!!

Male Card

Evening folks, hope all is well.  Trying my very best to get round everyone of you for a catch-up - I will get there eventually. I have been spending the last few days moving furniture around the house as Baz has finally got his wish, the spare room is now his games room.  I was gonna make it the craft room - but it now means I have all the downstairs which includes - TV, Hifi, laptop and kitchen ...... lol.

Anyway, I did squeeze one card in.  I used the fabby sketch over at Truly Scrumptious, they also had an added challenge of incorporating a bit of gingham.  Across at Totally Gorjuss and Magical Crafts, both their challenges were Male/Father's Day.

I haven't used Hamish Rugby Player from Sugar Nellie for ages and since Scotland is not in the football World Cup, we will try our luck with rugby instead ...lol. I did my usual, and embossed white card with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and popped some card candys in the corners.  The sentiment is pre-printed one off the computer from my stash pile  (looks like I might have to wait on Santa coming for a new printer) and I also found a little rugby ball brad which I popped on.

Sister's Birthday Card

Morning peeps.  Hope it is much sunny with you bunch, I've got clouds - boo hoss!.  Was hoping to get some washing out on the line, but it is not looking good....it's pouring down.......lol.  My big sister's birthday is next week and I did this card yesterday.  I used the fabby sketch across at Papertake Weekly, and covered the themes at For Fun - "Happy Birthday" and at Stampavie & more - "Dots".

I have used a Gorjuss Girl image from Sugar Nellie, DP are from scrap drawer and flowers from stash. The sentiment is one I had pre-printed in my drawer.

Anniversary Card & a few holiday pics

Afternoon peeps, I am so glad to be back amongst my Blogland buddies.  Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  I have quite a few cards to make this weekend and I am having an inspiration block!  Have managed to make one card so far.  This is for my boss at work, Kirsty, who will be celebrating her 1st wedding anniversary next week, her & her husband are such a lovely couple together.

I have used the sketch from Card Patterns, and used the themes from Secret Crafter - "Quotes" and also Spoon Full of Sugar - "Floral Delights".  Mainly used white card.  Quote is from DCVW.  Distressed all edges with a red chalk ink.  Flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Peel offs from stash (still no printer for P.C.)

I threatened you all earlier in  a previous post that I would show you are couple of photos of my holidays, I will show a few in each posts so I do not to bore you all - plus you can only cope with seeing my ugly mug in small doses....lol.  These first couple are us joining the cruise ship, Ventura, in Southampton,  the weather was glorious and how better to celebrate the start of a holiday - with a pint of lager!!!

And it is a picture of the ship, she was beautiful and I kept getting lost every time I used the lifts...lol. As you can see she is huge - too big for the camera.

Heading back to my table to try and make another with a "Pimms Misty" cocktail! (Pimms, ginger beer & pineapple juice)

I'm Home!!!!

Howdy everyone.  Got back from my lovely holiday on Saturday and I have still to unpack.  The cases are  upstairs full of dirty washing.  I had a wonderful time on my cruise and I will post a couple of pics in due time (won't bore you with them all ...lol) when I find the camera somewhere in the mess!!! lol.

Hope you are all well and looking forward to catching up with everyone and seeing what's been happening in Blogland while I have been away.  Might not get any crafting done until the weekend and I had  withdrawal symptoms while away - every port of call I was having a wee sneaky look for a crafty shop to pop into but alas couldn't spot any!!!  Instead I had to drown my sorrows will a few cocktails - I am a "Pimm's" girl now!  .lol....
