Baby on Board

Good afternoon my lovelies.  I am enjoying my Birthday with one of my best friends, Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) with a play date.  So far only one card has been created, not surprising with the amount of yaking and laughing going on...lol.

Shocked by the Power

Good afternoon my lovely blogger friends, I'm surprised I still have any as I have not been on for the last five months - sorry.   I have been crafting, but nothing for blogging or more often or not I would forget to take a photo before handing it to the receipant lol.

We have been busy however over at The Brionni Trust will charity stalls, Race Nights and even an abseil off the Forth Rail Bridge in memory of Brionni in aid of CHAS.

Well, fingers crossed, I will be back on more often.  This afternoon I have been back at my table along will my good friend Lesley, aka Pinkles Dreams, having a wee play, a bleather and a cheeky wee drink or two ..lol..

This card I made using a unknown image from stash, also gems, twine, charm and sentiment are from stash pile.  Striped paper from scrap drawer.  Tools used are an embossing folder and corner punch.  The challenges covered today are:-

Penny Black Christmas

Evening peeps, hope everyone is safe and well tonight after the horrendous weather in the UK today.   I was caught up in the storm this morning trying to get to Perth,  took me about 4 hours instead of the usual 40 minutes journey.  Was dirverted as there was two fallen trees and an overturned lorry but safe and snug back in the house now.

This hedgie image is from Penny Black.  Designer paper is a freebie from a craft magazine, card is from stash.  I embossed the corrugated card and then distressed inked it.  Ribbon, sentiment diecut, card candi and charm are from craft stash.  Tool used are  a snowflake embossing folder and square Nesties.  The challenges covered are:-

Run rabbit, run rabbit, run run run

Evening peeps, apologises for not being on recently, my neck and shoulders are playing up again so it is hard to get in the mood to create.  I had made this card at the weekend for my Auntie, she had kindly knitted and donated some bunny rabbits and a scarecrow to The Brionni Trust for us to sell on our stall.  The cute wee bunnies she had done gave me the inspiration for this card, so I dug out my Sugar Nellies stamps and hunted for this image.  The backing paper is a freebie from a magazine.  The picket fence is a diecut from Marieanne Creatables (there is a different story .... lol..). Tools used are my oval scalloped Nesties and Swiss dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Kidding Around

Afternoon folks, hope all the people with the snow are nice and cozy and coping alright. We had a small flutter last night but nothing laying, though it is really chilly - good excuse to stay indoors until later when I am slipping in to my finest pj's and heading out to my friends pyjama party!

This image is from High Hopes, coloured with my paints. I think the designer papers are from DCVW. Charm and ribbon are from stash. Tools used are my Oval Nesties. The challenges covered today are:-

It's a Jungle out there

Morning peeps!  Hope you are all having a great weekend.  Typical - I'm on holiday from work for a week  now and I'm full of the sniffles with this darn cold... lol...

The cheeky monkeys are clear stamps from Hero's and the zebra & big leaf  is a Stickeroo from Penny Black.  The backing paper is from a Forever Friends paperpack.  Tools used are my Circle & Rectangular Nesties and Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Top Tip Tuesday  -  It's all about Circles
Crafts 4 Eternity  -  Crazy Circles
Totally Gorjuss  -  Leaf it in!

P.S. - My top tip is when cutting out my images, especially when there is small tricky bits, is to use nail scissors as they have a curved blade which I find helps.

Clean & Simple Stock Cards

Back again, this time with a sample from a batch of cards I had done for stock from The Brionni Trust as we have a stall coming up at The Scribblers Picnic, Stirling on the 17th June and panic has started to set in.  I have used the same layout on all of them with different images and colours on each.

Ideal for this has been Stickeroos from Penny Black.  I also used for quickness (is that such a word?) has been sticky ribbon.  Please don't scrutinise my faux stitching too closely as there are one or two dodgy bits! ....lol.. To help jazz-up the plain card I have used my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-
