1st Christmas Card of 2016

I have shocked myself too, being this organised - it will never last! ....lol. That is all the Chrimbo decorations down and back up in the loft, hoovered and polished and back to normal for another year. the pussycats are looking at me disappointed as I have their playground away...lol ... Tough toot-toots I politely say...lol..

I got a lovely surprise this morning as I discovered I was randomly picked out the hat for a prize over at Sweet Stampin'- thank you, great start for the year.

I made this card by using part of a High Hopes Stamps (it has a Santa, Reindeer and a Snowman on it), as I have been using the reindeers for Reindeer poop, I am left with extra Santa's and Snowmen, so  I thought this sketch over at Sketch Saturday was a perfect opportunity to use some of them up.  The backing paper is from The English Paper Co.  Used a holly embossing folder and the sentiment is from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

This image is a sticker from above said stash hoard,  paper is free from a magazine cover.  Gems and sentiment from a forever friends elements pack.  Tool used is a cuttlebug border embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Run rabbit, run rabbit, run run run

Evening peeps, apologises for not being on recently, my neck and shoulders are playing up again so it is hard to get in the mood to create.  I had made this card at the weekend for my Auntie, she had kindly knitted and donated some bunny rabbits and a scarecrow to The Brionni Trust for us to sell on our stall.  The cute wee bunnies she had done gave me the inspiration for this card, so I dug out my Sugar Nellies stamps and hunted for this image.  The backing paper is a freebie from a magazine.  The picket fence is a diecut from Marieanne Creatables (there is a different story .... lol..). Tools used are my oval scalloped Nesties and Swiss dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Easel Mothers Day Card

Good morning all, up bright and early this morning as watching Andy Murray in the Australian Tennis Open Final on the television. Fingers crossed for him. Also it is a good excuse to be at my table early and snub the housework ...hehe..

I have a busy week ahead as I have started a evening course in web design on Tuesdays and this coming Thursday I start a evening course in sign language - it's like being back at school, only this time I'll pay attention more ...lol..

Our first craft fair for the Brionni Trust is at the end of February so I am trying to make some Easter and Mothers Day cards and gifts to sell then. Here is one of the cards I have done so far. The sentiment was printed off the computer and framed with a Sizzix diecut. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearl brads and lace are from stash. The challenges covered are:-

Chilly Tuesday

Good morning to you all and I hope you are all keeping warm this chilly morning (-14 here).  Well, not at work again due to the condition of the roads.  They are shocking, my poor Barry was one of the many hundreds of travellers caught-up in the massive gridlock on the Central Scotland roads.  He was struck from 11am in the morning and never moved for over 8 hours, eventually the queue moved enough for him to take a slip road off the motorway and by luck he knew the back roads and made a very slow and slippery journey and got home the back of midnight very tired and hungry!!!.  There was alot of people, elderly and families had to spend the night in their vehicles in that cold weather - it must have been horrific!!!

So it is another day in the house with the heating on full blast to keep the chill away.  There is nothing else for it but to have a wee play at the table.  The image is Miss Anya from The Greeting Farm.  The design paper is from DCVW.  Diecut snowflakes from Sizzix and sentiment printed off computer.  The challenges I have covered are:-

Stuck at home ....

Yes, the weather has beaten me this morning.  I managed about 5 miles up the road but had to turn back, the roads were really, really bad, even the 4 wheel drive jeeps in front of me were slip-sliding over the place.  So I have made a hard decision to play at my table today...lol.

This fabulous Charlie image is from Whiff of Joy.  The snowflakes are a mixture of diecuts, punches and brads.  The DP is from stash, sentiment printed off computer and also used my MS edge punch and snowflake cuttlebug folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Coffee... Latte or Mocha???

...........Me?......... I'm just a mug of plain instant myself....... lol.  Don't really like all the fancy coffee's even though I am a caffeine addict and I hate coffee flavoured ice cream and chocolate - yuck! coffee is just for drinking...... lol.  Anyway......  That's what happens when you pretend you are the image you have just coloured...... if only...... psml.... (the sunglasses aren't me...lol).  Have made this for one of my trendy nieces whose birthday is next week.  Not to sure where to post it too though as she out partying all the time (oh, to be young again..lol...).

The lovely image is from Whiff of Joy's City Girl Collection.  The Design papers are mostly DVCW.  Ribbon and wooden flower are from stash.  The challenges covered on this card are:-
I still have a mountain of cards to make to cover the next few weeks of birthdays so I am heading back to my table.  Wish me luck!!....lol.

Sketch Saturday & Charisma Cardz

Evening peeps. hope all is well and trying to beat this big freeze.  Never left the house today but I could tell it was cold outside.  Feeling really sorry for the garden birds just now, popped some bread out this morning, but the water outside was frozen solid and couldn't ever break through it with a hammer!

A lovely delivery man came this afternoon with a spare part for our living room fire - yippee!!!  It has not been working since last year but we managed to get someone to look at it and now this evening we have heat!  I am sitting here with wee rosy cheeks (or is that the wine - lol)

I have done a couple of cards today in between doing some various jobs about the house.  This card is for Sketch Saturday and Charisma Cardz - "Pink, Brown, Cream & Toffee".  I used one of the lovely Miss Anya's from The Greeting Farm and papers are from my scrap drawer.  Flowers were made my using my X-cut daisy punches and popping a sequin in the middle.

I think she is my favourite Miss Anya, coloured by a mixture of watercolour paints and pencils and I used papers from K & Co.  Diecut handbag & phone came from my stash as did bottle top.

Sketch Saturday

Helloooooo!!! everyone, especially my new followers, welcome. Hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend. Never guess that the football season has started so while it is on the TV I managed to do a couple of cards at my table.
This one today is for Sketch Saturday challenge, with a lovely sketch to work with, and with another wedding anniversary card to make for one of my dear friends, it seems perfect.

I used a Penny Black mouse stamp, hearts Cuttlebug embossing folder, backing papers are Papermania and flowers, brads and sentiments are from stash.
Hopefully might be back on later. hugs Kaza.xxx
