Gorjuss Girl

Hello! Back again with my third post of the day (must be a record for me.. lol).  That is all the footie watched so we are now onto the Formula One that we have recorded - so no sneaking on & telling me the result just yet!!! ....lol.

I love this gorjuss girl from Sugar Nellie but I don't really know what to use her for, so I think I shall keep this card back in my reserve pile as it might cover christening/communion/birth or something else.  My Cuttlebug folders have come in handy again and flowers, sentiment and brads are from stash.  The Challenges covered are:-

Another Crimbo Card

Today is getting better and better as I have won the fabulous challenge candy over at One Stitch At A Time - Woo Hoo!!!!  Thanks ladies for your little random thingy picking out little old me!! ...lol.  I am having a right PJ day - I just hope I don't get any visitors as they are not my Sunday Best ones...lol.

Finished another crimbo card, just using some of the left overs from my previous card.  I am sure this little girl image is from Pink Gem. Again used my Stickles and a mixture of different snowflakes.  The challenges I have covered this time are:-

After I have stopping jumping about the room in joy I am heading back to my table for some more crafting.

Little Boy's Card

Hello again after visiting one of my dearest friends and had a lovely afternoon having a good bleather.  It has been a beautiful sunny day here in Central Scotland but a chilly one, my hands are so cold that even me vigorously typing this post isn't warming them up! ...lol.

I have used this charming image from Lili of the Valley.  The rest of the bits and bobs are items laying about my stash drawer that I think have been there since the beginning of time lol.  The challenges covered today are:-

Get your motor rolling.........

Good morning, good morning, good morning.  Hope you are all well.  I am sneaking on before Barry gets back from the golf with a wee sneak peek of his birthday card.  It is not until the 11th October but I know what I am like and I would have forgotten so I made it when it was fresh in my mind.  I have no idea what to get him for a pressie though as he has everything - Gadget City our house is... hehehe.

Since old Baza loves the Formula One car racing I thought I would be nice and made him a wee themed card using some decoupage I had for just an occasion... lol.  The papers are from DCVW.  The challenges covered on this card are:-
This afternoon I am off to my friends house who is having a Macmillan Coffee Morning in memory of her father so hopefully I shall be back on later on this evening.

I'm on holiday!!!!

Good evening all.  That is me on holiday for a week, just a stay at home one with plenty to do around the house but I am planning to do a bit of crafting along the way.  The temperature has dropped a few degrees here and the leaves are starting to turn colour telling me officially that is summer over - boo hiss!  Time to start digging out those winter woollies from the back of the wardrobe.

I dug Hamish Chef from Sugar Nellie out of my little pile of stamps to do a birthday card for the cook at work as it is her birthday tomorrow.  Used some cake stickers and a some peel off wording.  The challenges I have entered this card in for are:-

Dressing-up Maggie

Evening all peeps.  Football is on the TV this evening so I have been playing at my table and managed to make a whole one card ..... lol.  Ho-hum, maybe I might have better luck tomorrow as no doubt there will be more sport on the box... hehehe.

I think this stamp from Sugar Nellie was one of my favourites of all time and I have coloured her with my paints and added some gold stickles to her necklace and handbag.  The design papers are from Papermania and also from Daisy & Dandelion paper packs.  Flowers are from stash as are the gems.  Leaves are cut out using my Woodware punch.  The challenges I have covered tonight are:-

It's the Weekend.........craft time!!!

It seems that it is the only time I get to play these days.  There does not seem enough hours in the day and now that the nights are drawing in it feels less and less.  With limited time, I try and support as many of the challenge blogs as possible. All the Design Teams put so much time and effort in their work - your work are fully appreciated and gives me so much inspiration you don't realise - you are all fantastic and give yourselves a well deserved pat on the back.

I have managed to make one card so far today for a friend whose birthday is next week but she is actually celebrating it tonight (her and her youngest son share the same day) so I think a few glasses of wine will be flowing... lol.  The gorgeous image is from Sugar Nellie coloured with my bargain pencils (from Tesco's), the design paper is from Laura Ashley, diecut buttons are from stash, as is the brads & spacers.  The challenges covered today are:-
Finger-crossed I shall be back on before I head out tonight.  I have a feeling it could be messy this evening.  Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) has bought Cola Cube Shots for us all - they are tasty but lethal.... lol.

Coffee... Latte or Mocha???

...........Me?......... I'm just a mug of plain instant myself....... lol.  Don't really like all the fancy coffee's even though I am a caffeine addict and I hate coffee flavoured ice cream and chocolate - yuck! coffee is just for drinking...... lol.  Anyway......  That's what happens when you pretend you are the image you have just coloured...... if only...... psml.... (the sunglasses aren't me...lol).  Have made this for one of my trendy nieces whose birthday is next week.  Not to sure where to post it too though as she out partying all the time (oh, to be young again..lol...).

The lovely image is from Whiff of Joy's City Girl Collection.  The Design papers are mostly DVCW.  Ribbon and wooden flower are from stash.  The challenges covered on this card are:-
I still have a mountain of cards to make to cover the next few weeks of birthdays so I am heading back to my table.  Wish me luck!!....lol.

Autumn Whiff of Joy

An early start for me this morning, the pussycats were wide awake at 6am wanting out and to attract my attention they dive-bomb me from the windowsill to me laying in the bed - phoaw!!! Onyx is no light weight so for my own protection I got up and let them out........lol. So washing is done and hanging out, whizzed round with the hoover and duster and deedaa!!! - time to play!!!.

I finished off this card that I had started last night.  I am a wee bit unsure about with this one, I know what I wanted to do in my head but didn't really come out on paper.  The image is from Whiff of Joy, the backing papers are from a Laura Ashley paperpack.  The wine bottle & glasses are from a Woodware clear stamp collection. My charm is actually a cocktail glass charm,  Ribbon, flowers and leaves are from stash and the sentiment is printed from computer.  The challenges combined in thus card are:-

Santa Baby

Good afternoon, back again with a second card of the day.  I would have been on earlier but the laptop had "a moment" ...lol.  It would not switch on and then when eventually it decided to start up it just stood with a blank screen......... technology!!!.  So I just switched it back off for an hour and switched it back on - seems to be fine on (fingers crossed.. lol|).

Anyway, I still love this Santa stamp and used a lilac/blue inkpad.  The papers are from The English Paper Co. Snowflake are Sizzix diecuts and I popped a couple of card candy's on the top and used some border peel offs.  The challenges covered on this card are:-
