Aye, Aye me hearties.........

Dug my Luca pirate stamp from Sugar Nellie out the cupboard to do this fun card.  Also I had a rummage and found these diecuts and paper, it is amazing what you can find!!!..........lol.  I distressed everything with a cats eye chalk ink which worked quite well.  The wording is from a set of pirate stickers I have, again found rummaging.  The challenges covered on this are:-

Charisma Cardz  -  "Something for the Kiddies"
Stamp Something  -  Distressed Somethings

WOJ - New City Girl

Back again with my second post of the day.  I am having a wee play with some of my new stash I got yesterday and this City Girl from Whiff of Joy is one of them.  She is just so gorgeous I couldn't resist her.  I also used one of my new sets of Nestibilities.  The flowers are from my stash but the silver spacer is a new purchase...lol.  I "Blinged" Miss City's necklace & bracelet with some gold Stickles.

Sorry about the photo quality ...lol... I just could not get the sentiment to stop reflecting the flash...lol.. must have to go on a crash course on photography...lol.  The challenges I have covered are:-
Heading back to my table again so hopefully will be back on later.

Mum-2-B cards

Evening folks, been busy making some Mum-to-be cards for girls at work.  Tomorrow is going to quite a sad day as it it my last day working were I am.  Start a new job on Monday and starting to feel a bit nervous ....lol.

I used this fabulous image and sentiment from High Hopes, paper is from the Papermania Inspirational range, ribbon and button brad from stash.  I tried to destress the image using my chalk inks but I think I went a bit OTT!!!!.  The challenges I covered making it:-
The following card as you can tell involves no stamping or colouring at all.  It was really handy to use up some scraps in my drawer and the challenges covered on this one are;-

And finally another High Hopes image, papers are from Forever Friends, my fave leaf punch, flowers from stash and paper candy thingys.  The challenges I covered on this one are:-

I hope I have not bored you with long post, my fingers are sore typing it ...lol..... and speak to you all over the weekend!!!

1st Easel Card

Afternoon everyone and I hope you are all having a joyous weekend.  Not been on for a few days as I had no motivation being bunged up with the cold, but I am on the mend now (passed the cold onto Baza  - share & share alike...lol).

I have finally took the plunge and had a go at an easel card, not as bad as I thought it would turn-out to be, maybe should have done another layer of card as it seems to be curling abit.  Used a Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie, papers are from scrap drawer and flowers are from Papermania (which I am gonna get more off 'coz I love them).  This is a commissioned card for a couple who have just adopted a little girl so I hope it is OK.

The challenges I have entered this card into are:-
Going this evening through to Glasgow to see Strictly Come Dancing - Live!, so looking forward to it as we have had the tickets for about a year. Fingers-crossed we have good seats so I can see the dancers silky moves ....lol.  Going with my friend Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) - a nice romantic evening together ...lol.

That's it for another year.....

Good morning everyone and I hope that everyone has survived the day.  Santa spoiled me once again and I had a lovely day.  We did some visiting then went to the local Indian Restaurant for dinner, I was stuffed and brought a doggy bag home and then did some more visiting in the evening. Hoping that today is just a chill-out PJ day.  Looking forward to hearing about everyone else's day.

I am starting to get crafting withdrawal symptoms as not been at my table for a few days now.  Here are a couple of cards I did at the start of the week.  This first one is using the lovely Demure stamp from Sugar Nellie.  I have entered her into the challenges over at Charisma Cardz - "Anything but Christmas" and Colour Create Challenge - Pink, Burgundy & Ivory with Roses.

This cheeky character is Wee from Whiff of Joy and  he is just delightful and I have used him for Stamp Something - "Christmas".

Whiff of Joy & Stamp Something

Just another quick post before I start making the tea for Baza & myself, then I will be slowing down as a couple of glasses wine would have been comsumed........lol.  This cheeky card is following the colour challenge over at Whiff of Joy which is Brown, Orange & Ivory and I followed the sketch over at Stamp Something.

I used Charlie from Whiff of Joy - he is such a cheeky chap - and backing papers from Daisy & Dandelion - and not forgetting the old faithful snowflake diecuts.......lol.

Barry is still laying on the sofa so it will be me to make the tea.......hope he likes well done pasta.......lol

Back to Crimbo Cards

Afternoon all.  Thought I have had a long enough break away from Xmas Cards to get back on the wagon again but sitting this afternoon with crafters block.  So I had a wee lookie through the challenges and combined together I have come up this cute card.  I must admit I am quite pleased with myself and do a few more "clone" cards.....lol.

The challenges I have used for this card are:-

The Image is from a Penny Black clear stamp range with added silver Stickles.  The embossing folders used from Snowflake & Holly.  The snowflake is a Cuttlebug diecut with a snowflake brad through the middle.

The Pink Elephant & Stamp Something

Gosh, its not midday yet I have made another. This doesn't happen very often........lol. Never mind, I'm enjoying myself in my own little bubble playing. Baza will be home soon from the golf and my peace will be shattered.
Over at the TPE it is a sketch and at Stamp Something it is to use at least 3 embellishments.

The PB image has been coloured beautifully by Lesley and her magic Pro-makers (saves me buying them.....lol) and the embellies are from stash that never seems to go down but you always HAVE to add to!........lol.

Stamp Something Friday - Sketch

Popping another one on for this evening. Decided I am best to put a picture of the sketch from Stamp Something Friday that I am supposed to be following instead of you having to be a bit of a clairvoyant ...lol.

I think the image is from Ellze belles, but don't quote me on that, don't want a slapped hand from Trading Standards....lol. Backing paper from Papermania and the old faithful Nestibilities came into play again.......lol.

I'm on Holiday - 3 Cards

Yhay!!!!! I'm on holiday for a week. Not going away but have planned a few days here & there and also scheduled in some serious craft time....lol. Hope everyone has had a lovely Sunday and are stuffed after their dinner. I am still in my PJ's (Sunday is the day of rest...lol) and still to have my tea. It will be something from the freezer that goes Ping! after 5mins...lol. I had hoped for a day to myself and tried to pam Barry off to the golf this morning but his shoulder is still sore... huff... is there no consideration to others...lol. I mean, he has only been out of action for the last 6 months. lol. Oh well, so I sat at my table today while the football (& now the golf) was on the telly and made these 3 cards.
The first one is for the Stamp Something Saturday Challenge - something with cold winter wind, well after debating whether or not to post a photo of old Baza there after one of my homemade curries I decided upon little Tilda fighting against the winter chill on Hogmany going first footing - cheers to you Tilda!.
I read on someone's blog (forgive me as I can't remember who's) that they had set themselves a target to make at least one Crimbo card a week and I think that it is a jolly good idea so I am gonna follow suit - so thank you however you were. xxx It will certainly save a little of the mad frenzy in October/November...lol.
Card No.2 is for my lovable, adorable nephew CJ (got to say that...lol) who is the coolest kid on the block (been paid to say that...lol). His birthday is not until the end of the month but the challenge over at Colour Create - Blue & Brown was such a great combo I just couldn't refuse.
I used an Edwin stamp (sorry don't know name) and DCWV papers & saying. My oval nestibilities came in very handy again. I honestly don't know what I used to do before them.
My 3rd, and final card for this evening I have made for one of my friend's little girl, Eden, who will be 1 in April and I have used the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge - Transport for this one.
I really liked the image after it was coloured in, the girl with her bogie. My brothers made one one time, used bits of their bikes, didn't go down well with my dad...lol. Theirs wasn't a patch on this girl's or even Oor Willie's come to think of it!. lol.... those were the days....lol
Well that is it for me this evning, I am going to retire now with the rest of the bottle of wine I have started and do some blog-hopping.........xxxx
