Anyone for Anya & Charisma Cardz

This is another one of the cards one of the girls at work asked for, I am slowly getting through them and then I will have to start on making some birthday cards to send to my own family members and then........some Christmas cards for myself...........phew..........it's a hard life but someone has to do it...........lol.

I followed the gorgeous sketch over at Charisma Cardz and the challenge over at Anyone for Anya was "Make a Fake" so I popped on some of my fake stitching.......I know it is a bit wonky, after all it is handmade.........lol.

I did my best to 3D this Anya and stickled her wings to make them all sparkly.  The backing paper is from Daisy & Dandelion.

Simon Says............

Morning Campers!!  Went back to work yesterday after my week off - boo hiss - and luckily I have my day off today so they are breaking me back in gently.  So I have started how I mean to continue today with a card.

Simon Says........... "Animal Antics" so hopefully this card applies with a wee heggie growing a lovely bunch of flowers.

The backing papers are from Papermania and flower, brads and peel offs are from stash. The image is a Penny Black Stamp.

I really should start my Christmas Shopping but I keep putting it off.  I HATE shopping with a passion and the thought of going to a busy shopping centre brings me out in a sweat.  I usually manage to get most pressies locally or online.  Barry says that I don't get into the spirit of Christmas.....lol............easy for him to say as he leaves it all to me!!!!.

Any way folks, sorry for my moan for the day, I'm away to cheer myself up my heading to my table for a wee play.

Sophisticats Challenge

I followed the fantastic sketch over at Sophisticats and hope I have just managed to squeeze it in time wise.

The image is from Penny Black and coloured as usual with my watercolour paints (maybe santa might surprise me with some copics...lol) and the backing papers are from Papermania.  Flowers have been created with my X-cut Daisy punches with little gems in the middle.  Also popped a gem of the ladies necklace.  This is an order from one of the girl's at work, hope her Auntie likes it.

I have been home alone today, Barry is away to the ALBA Football Cup Final - Dundee v Calley Thistle - and Dundee have just won so he will be a happy chappie when he eventually rolls home...lol.

Charity Stall

Just to let you all know that we had a very good day at the Charity Christmas Fayre at the Albert Hall, Stirling yesterday.  We raised over £170 which is fantastic.  The hall was not as busy as previous years yet it still is a good day and nice to see some regular faces.

I think she is my favourite Miss Anya, coloured by a mixture of watercolour paints and pencils and I used papers from K & Co.  Diecut handbag & phone came from my stash as did bottle top.

Stampin' for the weekend - 30th

Hello folks, have had a lovely easy day today, caught up with some of my TV programmes on i-player.  It is quite a clever little thing - was playing it though Baza's Playstation 3 so I could watch them on the telly instead of the PC.  This is one of the card I had to make, the girl's birthday has passed now so I can blog it - always scared to do it before for some reason!!! The Challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend is "Lets Celebrate".

I used one of the lovely Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie (could just image myself in that pose on a chez-lounge.....lol).  The huge big black bow is from Poppicrafts, Backing Papers are from Daisy & Dandelion. Circles are by using my Nesties and charm, flowers & number peel-offs are from stash.

Morning Ladies and a special warm welcome to Melanie (aka Milnie).  Started off with a bang with morning with this card which covers quick a few challenges.  Have peace and quiet today as I packed Barry off to work with a box of hankies and throat sweets (I'm a hard woman I know....lol) and I have a few commissioned cards (goes to the charity) to make given to me by the girls from work so I will have to get my thinking cap on for them.

I borrowed Snowy off my good friend Lesley as I think he is just gorge (I feel a new purchase coming on..lol). Backing paper is from Papermania and everything else is from stash.

Hello again ladies, twice in one day - not bad at all........lol.  This is a Christmas card made using the challenges over at Sophisticat's - "Wings" and Charisma Cardz - "Merry & Bright" and the sketch at Magnolia Down Under.

I love Edwin Snowman and I 3d him on embossed card.  Backing paper is from DCVW, I think, and the embossing folders used are from Cuttlebug and they are Swirls and Snowflakes.  The snowflakes are a mixtures of diecuts, brads and confetti.

Heading back up to my table to play while Barry is lying on the couch as he has a bit of a sniffle (aka man flu) - bless.........lol.

Crafty Cardmakers & Creative Card Corner

Morning ladies, hope all are having a great weekend.  This is me on holiday now for a whole week and I am planning to be busy crafting.  One off our busiest Charity Craft Stalls is next week - 21st - at the Albert Halls in Stirling and I feel I still have so much still to make.

Made this for the lovely Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) as it was her birthday yesterday and we all went out for dinner - it was lovely and I am still stuffed!!......lol.  I combined the challenges Creative Card Crew - "Doodles" and Crafty Cardmakers - "Stamp Something".

I used a lovely Miss Anya stamp and coloured her with a mixture of watercolour pencils and paints.  The papers are from Doodlebugs and my precious flowers are from stash.

Away in a manger.........

Evening everyone. How you all doing?  I can't beleive not been on for a while but here I am with a couple of challenges.  I have to be honest and say I have not been up to much, usually when the clocks go back one hour I kinda hiberate......lol.

I love this Penny Black stamp and I have been waiting on an excuse to use it so when the challenge over at Penny Black Saturday Challenge was "Song Title" I gave a little yelp of delight.  I also combined the challenges of Cupcake Crafts "Snow much fun" and Spoon Full of Sugar's "Create a scene".

I finish up on Friday for a week's holiday so hopefully I will have a week of playing.
