Afternoon peeps - can't believe its the middle of the week already and I'm not nearly half way through these card orders - gosh, I can really spin them out cant I! ...lol..  I keep finding other wee jobs to do instead of getting stuck into them.

While tiding up my stash at the weekend, I came across a Kanban sheet of animals which I have had for yonks and yonks, so I decided to make a concious effort to use it.  I managed to make four cards out of it, which this is one of them.  The backing paper is from a Docrafts paperpack and tools used were a Cuttlebug embossing folder and my Circle Nesties.  The challenges I have entered it into are:-

Baby Blues

Afternoon peeps, popping on while I have the chance this weekend.  The house is all topsy-turvy at the moment as we are getting new heating in over the next few days -  I have about six jumpers and four pairs of socks at the ready to throw on just in case it gets a bit nippy!!.  I am having to move all my crafty stash out of the cupboard where the boiler is kept.  Me feels I am going to have great fun rummaging all through it and coming across things I didn't even realise I had! ...lol...

This is a cheeky wee quick card I had done using a Forever Friends 3D Element, in't he a cutie.  The  checked blue paper is from the bottom of my scrap drawer and the button brads, ribbon and gems are from stash..  The cute elephant charm is from Meiflower.  Tools used are my circle & scallop circle Nesties and a embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Evening peeps, how you all doing.  Winter has definitely arrived, with all the leaves off the trees and the frosty mornings ....brrrrr .... thinking about it just wants me to snuggle up inside mu duvet.

This quick wee Christmas card was made using one of Lili of the Valley's pre-coloured diecuts, handy as my colouring-in mojo has left the building (another reason why I have not been on).  The gel stars and rik-rak ribbon are from stash.  The challenges covered today are:-

Baby Stepper Card

Afternoon peeps.  Just back from one of our Christmas Craft Fairs with The Brionni Trust, and we managed to raise £73, not to bad for a few hours work and that it wasn't very busy.  One down and one to go tomorrow.  Just posting this while having a well deserved cup of coffee and swithering whether or not to head up to my table for a wee play.

Had a great day yesterday at the Hobbycrafts Craft Show in Glasgow.  Stocked up in all my essential items and managed to grab a couple of bargain buys at the same time.  Surprised myself though - I never indulged in a must have purchase *note to self* must try harder the next time! .... lol..

Now, I warned you all I was into making Stepper cards - and there's another one, a boy's christening card.
The main image is a diecut image from Lili of the Valley.  The little teddy bears & ducks are cut from funky foam by Sizzix Paddle Punches and decorated by using Liquid Pearls and a black marker.  The challenges covered are:-

Hello.........

Morning!!!....................

Apologises for not being on Blogland for a while,  for a wee change I've had a diary full of night outs so not had much chance for a wee chance to play at my table.  I have also been doing a few commissioned cards for peeps which I can share with you all when I can get the chance...

Also we nipped away on a weeks holiday to Lanzarote which was great.  We needed a week to relax and enjoy some kind of sunshine.  Was a bit of a shock to the system though landing back in Glasgow to freezing weather ..... brrrrrr ... heating straight on...lol.

So this weekend I have been looking forward to getting all sticky and covered in glitter ...lol... easy pleased me! ....lol...  Last week was a week of 70th Birthdays with Barry's mum and my mum hitting this milestone. This is the Easel Card I made for Maisie, Barry's mum to mark her special birthday.

The sentiment was printed off the computer, Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, Gems, peeloffs & ribbons are from stash.  Tools used are leaf punches, embossing folders & Oval Nesties.  The challenges covered are:-

It's a Whole New World

..... and to be somewhere exotic laying on a beach sipping a cocktail would be lovely with someone fanning me down, and peeling me a grape would be a Brucie Bonus. ...lol...  but back to reality, its Sunday already and back to work tomorrow.

We, The Brionni Trust, have a card stall next Sunday the 26th at Tilly Market Traders, Devonvale Hall, Tillicoultry and I have been busy trying to do some stock cards so unfortunately not had much time to play I have however done this card which I am entering into the following challenges:-

The digi image is from Kenny K, coloured by my whisper pens.  The backing paper is a scrap off a scrapbooking sheet.  The camera & suitcase brads are from stash.  Tools used are Nesties and an embossing folder.

Onyx and him are getting on great but Jazz still is still wary of him - doesn't help that Woody charges after him like an annoying little brother! ...lol..

Happy PJ Day!!!

Good morning, or is it afternoon - I have had a long lie as I was up late with friends and when I came home I watching the Olympic Opening Ceremony which I had recorded so is was the back of 4 when I drifted off to sleep.  I thought it was quite good personally and I loved the humour it incorporated, Mr Bean cracks me up all the time ...lol...

So since I am still in my pj's I am going to officially make today  National PJ Day!!  So folks you can take it nice and easy today and craft away at your hearts content and you don't have to feel guilty about leaving that washing, ironing, etc... to another day...hehehe ... (well that's my excuse for body-swerving the housework ..lol...)

I really quite like this CAS card, It has been a while since I have played with some of my Sizzix dies so I had to scrape the dust and stoor off them.  I gave the little house some texture my running it through an embossing folder.  I just used up some paper scraps and again used a different embossing folder for the background giving it a good rub with sandpaper to show off the brick effect. Peel offs, brads and hinge are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Fairy Good & Woody's Vet Visit

The fairy image is from Lili of the Valley, coloured with Whisper pens with an added touch of clear Stickles on the wings.  Patterened papers are from scrap drawer, flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Butterfly confetti, peel offs and gems are from stash.  Tools used are Nesties, chalk inks and MS Border Punch.  The challenges covered are:-
Woody had his first visit to the vets yesterday, he was a very good boy getting his jags and Mrs Vet gave him a good check over.  Unfortunately she discovered he has dis-formed elbows, the poor mite.  We knew when we got him there was something up with his front legs, but it doesn't stop him getting about - if anything he is the wildest of the three at that age!!  The vet said that only time will tell how it will affect him, probably in the form of arthritis.  It just means he has to get lots of extra cuddles ...lol...

Meet Woody .......

............ the newest member to our gang.  He is fitting right in - as he's daft as a brush!!!!

The first couple of days were a wee bit tense as Onyx and Jazz didn't really appreciate a new lodger, but Woody & Onyx had breakfast together this morning with just a couple of hisses (and that was because Woody was trying to attack Onyx's tail!!! ...lol)

And Jazz and Woody spent some time on the bed together this evening which I am well chuffed at.  He is so funny and is fearless.

He is the reason I haven't done any crafting this week.  I an hoping for a wee craft-a-thon on Saturday but I'm not getting my hopes up as Woody has already decided that my craft stash is an excellent playground!!

Summer? .... Where? ....

Good morning everyone, hope all is well in Blogland with you all.  Well, that's the longest day past and the  nights now are going to start to draw in!?!  Hard to believe isn't it! Where has this year (and summer) done!! Thinking to myself that I will have to start on - *whispers* - Christmas cards soon - sshh!!! but that seems to really wish the year away ...lol...

Last Sunday we had our Brionni Trust stall at the Scribblers Picnic, Stirling,  a really good fun day despite the rain and we managed to raise over £138.00 - thanks for everyone's support and donations.

Since the weather has been totally pants, I decided to do a summery themed card to cheer myself up.  I've done quite a Clean & Simple card as I wanted to show off the papers (freebie from a crafty magazine).  I coloured the Magnolia image with my whisper pens so it was bold & bright.  The sentiment is printed off the computer and the sunglasses embellishment is from crafty stash.  The challenges covered today are:-

Celebration Time

Morning peeps.  How lovely has this weather been?  It feels so weird that just a week or so ago  we were in the minus degrees and now we are in the twentys - Scottish weather!! ..lol.  It has put me in the holiday mode for jetting off to Corfu tomorrow morning.

We, the charity, had a fantastic night last night at our Race Night with over £1000 raised.  I on the other hand was not so fortunate I had seemed to pick all the donkeys and they are still running .... lol..

Clean & Simple Stock Cards

Back again, this time with a sample from a batch of cards I had done for stock from The Brionni Trust as we have a stall coming up at The Scribblers Picnic, Stirling on the 17th June and panic has started to set in.  I have used the same layout on all of them with different images and colours on each.

Ideal for this has been Stickeroos from Penny Black.  I also used for quickness (is that such a word?) has been sticky ribbon.  Please don't scrutinise my faux stitching too closely as there are one or two dodgy bits! ....lol.. To help jazz-up the plain card I have used my Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Trying to cram everything in this weekend as next week we are off on holiday to sunny (hopefully) Corfu, a beautiful island.

The Sun has Got His Hat On .....

Hip, Hip, Hip, Hooray!!!  ...... It feels such a long time since we have seen the old mucka...lol.... so the washing machine is on double time trying to get it out on the line to dry before he disappears again behind some big black clouds.  Even Barry has hurried out to try and tackle the wildness (aka the front garden) - I've tied a bit of string to his waist just in case he cannot find his way back out ...lol.... Oh, I am cheeky!

.... well, hopefully thanks to Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams).  After a long time suffering with Blogger/Internet connection issues she suggested switching to Google Chrome instead of Internet Explorer and - fingers crossed (and toes) - it has worked and I can get back to normal -  Hip hip hooray!!!!!.

While I have mentally been throwing the computer out of window lol,  I have been busy making quite a few commissioned cards which all funds go to The Brionni Trust.  We have got  a busy time coming up for the Charity with a Race Night on the 26th May and then we have a stall at the Scribbler's Picnic, Stirling on the 17th June - we will have to get cracking making some more cards for stock for there as it a great day and lovely to see some regular faces.

Well, enough babbling on and get onto some crafting.... this is one of the commissioned cards I had to do on my list which is for a 21st Birthday.  The image is a Kenny K digi stamp coloured with my watercolour paints.  I had a little problem as I don't have promarkers, copics etc... so when colouring the printer ink on the stamp starting to bleed - oops - fingers crossed it is not that noticeable.  The stripey paper is from DCVW and the CD is an old recycled one.  The musical notes on the CD are peeloffs and the metal star is from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Morning Madness

Good morning, good morning, good morning to everyone.  Hope you all are enjoying the weekend - especially if you are off for the Bank Holiday Monday.  Sorry I have not been on as of late, I don't know if it is me or Mr Blogger but I am having great difficulty in loading up sites, so slow and they keep not responding  (I am starting to get paranoid - hehehe).  So hopefully in a couple of hours time I would have actually posted this!!!

This easel card is a commissioned card for someone at work.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Embossing folder, I think is from Craft Too.  Diecut swirls are from Marieanne Creations.  Also used was my oval Nesties.  Ribbon and pearls are from stash.  The challenges covered today are:-
