Baby Baby

Evening peeps.  Nothing really exciting to report since I was last on, just that the good weather has disappeared for the moment, fingers crossed  Mr Sunshine makes an appearance at least once more before the summer it out.  Oh ..... And for the peeps that know me all too well, I have had another accident prove moment, I went to put my feet up on the reclining chair in the living room and it broke!  Oops .... That's not bad, I think this the first item I have broke in 2013 ....lol..

The sweet Forever Friends image is one of their 3D elements,  the backing paper is from a very very old paperback from Papermania.  The sentiment, sticky ribbon are from stash.  Tools used are my circle Nesties and Martha Stewart border punch.  The challenges covered today are:-

Life is a Beach

Morning peeps, posting from the sunny garden this morning.  The weather already is fabulous.  Already done my houseworky jobs.  I think later Barry and I are heading into Stirling,  he has decided to upgrade his mobile to an iPhone and we might have to stop off at a beer garden somewhere for a cheeky wee bar lunch.... Lol ....  Also today it is the famous "Alva Games" so we might even pop in there to watch all the events ..... I can see sitting here just now that they are preparing the course for the hill race ... I get knackered just watching ...lol....

I was having a little play last night, trying to use up some old stash and I had made this quick A5 card.  The image is from stash (think I may have got in a swap).   The background image and sentiment are diecuts from Docrafts.  Backing paper is from stash, as are clipbrads.  The challenges covered are:-
Hope you all have a lovely day...

Hush a bye Baby

Good morning peeps.  Up with the lark this morning so I can whizz round the house doing housework before Andy Murray is on the telly....  Fingers crossed for our local boy..   The sun is once again splitting the sky and it seems to be here to stay for at least a week - Woo Hoo!

I do so love doing these double easel cards and they are so surprising easy to make.  The stamped image is from Penny Black.  The sentiment sticker is from DCVW.  Sticky ribbon and card candi are from stash.  Tools used are Nesties and Swiss dots embossing folder. The challenges covered are:-
Hoping to play while watching the tennis and might be back with a few posts later.

Dance yourself Dizzy

Afternoon peeps.  It's Father's Day here in the UK and I hope that fathers are being spoilt rotten, and a special hug to those who no longer have their loved ones with them.  The furbabies were awfully kind to Barry, giving him loads of chocolate and a iTunes voucher, lucky him.

Yesterday I had a day at my table and I made a few cards.  It was good as I have not been that productive lately.  This is one of the cards I made using this wonderful Whipper Snapper stamp.  The papers are from a Forever Friends paperback.  Sentiment, charm and paper lace are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Diamonds and Pearls

Good evening everybody, hope all is well in the cypher world of Blogland.  Apologises for being a bad blogger of late, not really had a chance to play, but fingers crossed I am hoping for a craft day on Saturday.

This is a commissioned card for one of the girls from work, I think it is for her nephew and the picture is of the future bride's beautiful diamond ring.  If you haven't already guessed, I love doing these double easel cards.  My scalloped square Nesties are just the right size for the front bases.  Other Nesties sed are a labels set and the oval smooth and scalloped.  I have embellished this card with clear gems, pearls, ribbon and a pearl buckle which I have had in my craft stash for yonks and yonks and yonks.  The challenges covered are:-

Baby Blues

Afternoon peeps, popping on while I have the chance this weekend.  The house is all topsy-turvy at the moment as we are getting new heating in over the next few days -  I have about six jumpers and four pairs of socks at the ready to throw on just in case it gets a bit nippy!!.  I am having to move all my crafty stash out of the cupboard where the boiler is kept.  Me feels I am going to have great fun rummaging all through it and coming across things I didn't even realise I had! ...lol...

This is a cheeky wee quick card I had done using a Forever Friends 3D Element, in't he a cutie.  The  checked blue paper is from the bottom of my scrap drawer and the button brads, ribbon and gems are from stash..  The cute elephant charm is from Meiflower.  Tools used are my circle & scallop circle Nesties and a embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Baby Stepper Card

Afternoon peeps.  Just back from one of our Christmas Craft Fairs with The Brionni Trust, and we managed to raise £73, not to bad for a few hours work and that it wasn't very busy.  One down and one to go tomorrow.  Just posting this while having a well deserved cup of coffee and swithering whether or not to head up to my table for a wee play.

Had a great day yesterday at the Hobbycrafts Craft Show in Glasgow.  Stocked up in all my essential items and managed to grab a couple of bargain buys at the same time.  Surprised myself though - I never indulged in a must have purchase *note to self* must try harder the next time! .... lol..

Now, I warned you all I was into making Stepper cards - and there's another one, a boy's christening card.
The main image is a diecut image from Lili of the Valley.  The little teddy bears & ducks are cut from funky foam by Sizzix Paddle Punches and decorated by using Liquid Pearls and a black marker.  The challenges covered are:-

It's a Whole New World

..... and to be somewhere exotic laying on a beach sipping a cocktail would be lovely with someone fanning me down, and peeling me a grape would be a Brucie Bonus. ...lol...  but back to reality, its Sunday already and back to work tomorrow.

We, The Brionni Trust, have a card stall next Sunday the 26th at Tilly Market Traders, Devonvale Hall, Tillicoultry and I have been busy trying to do some stock cards so unfortunately not had much time to play I have however done this card which I am entering into the following challenges:-

The digi image is from Kenny K, coloured by my whisper pens.  The backing paper is a scrap off a scrapbooking sheet.  The camera & suitcase brads are from stash.  Tools used are Nesties and an embossing folder.

Happy Easter Weekend

Afternoon peeps... hoping for a wee crafting this afternoon, Barry is away to the Footie, so peace perfect peace for a few hours.  Blogger/Internet Explorer is starting to really annoy me now, so apologies for not getting around to visiting everyone.   It either freezes or throws me out of sites before they are uploaded ...grrrr.   I thought it has been my computer for the pass few weeks, but it seems there quite a few of you experiencing the same so don't feel so guilty now ...lol..

We are starting to see more and mores lambs in the fields now, I don't know about the rest of you but they seem later this year than usual.  They are so cute and love watching them frolick about in their wee gangs and it is a definate sign that Spring has arrived and Summer is on it's way (fingers crossed soon as I have had to pop the heating back on!).

This card was made using some freebie papers and images from a crafting magazine whish I have tried to 3D up.  Green velvet ribbon, card candys and peeloffs are from stash.  Tools used is an embossing folder and oval & circle Nesties.  The challenges covered are:-
Hope you have a good weekend and hopefully I plan a few more posts before the weekend is out.

Boys & their Toys

I have a house full of gadgets thanks to Baz.  It is definitely a man thing, I'm sure we have more gadgets and gizmos than Curry's and Comet clubbed together ...lol.. ...  I haven't a clue what most of them are for but apparently they are "must haves".  I just stay clear of them as tend to brake anything electrical or technical ...lol...  I'll just stick with my crafty stuff...lol.

This pre-coloured diecut image from Lili of the Valley goes brilliantly with the sentiment I found and printed off the internet.  The scrap of designer paper is from DCVW.  Also used was an embossing folder from Cuttlebug, Martha Stewart Zig-zag border punch and a couple of brads from craft stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Hello ......

...... Can't believe I have been missing in action from Blogland for a wee while. Have been a bit busy with charity stuff, wedding invites, commissioned cards and trying to get the card stock pile up for the next stall date in a few months.  Hoping for a day of play this afternoon (fingers-crossed) as I should really be packing my case for my holidays next week - off to the sun - woohoo!!!!

This one of the commissioned cards I have been doing but managed to sneak a few challenges into it, hehe.  The remit for this one is a Goth Ballet dancer,  this was the closet I could find in my box of stash.  It is a stamped image I have had for ages (think I received it in an image swap so I'm afraid I don't know the maker).  The backing papers are from DCVW, stick-on clear gems from stash,  tools used are Musical notes Sizzixlits diecuts and a Nesties Swirl diecut.  The challenges covered are:-
