See you Latte Stepper Card

Afternoon peeps, hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wishing all the very best for 2016.  Thinking especially about friends caught up in the bad flooding in the north of England and the Scottish Borders.

I never quite fulfilled my 2015 New Years resolution of blogging more, so I am going to set myself the same task again...lol..  I am also really rubbish at taking photos of my cards, so I am going to try and approve my photo skills too...  (This photo not applicable..lol).

This card is made up of various bits and bobs, the boutique scene is a topper from Hunkydory, the stamped image is from Whiff of Joy, the diecut table and chairs are from Crafters Companion, diecut fence from stash, sentiment is printed off computer and tools used was a brickwork effect embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Celebration Time (Come on)

Good evening to all my Blogland buddies.  I must apologise for not being on a while, been a wee bitty busy of late with holidays, 40th birthdays,  helping fundraising for The Brionni Trust.  But now my social calender is slowly returning back to normal (i.e. empty ....hehe) I hopefully should be back to posting regularly again.

I was asked a few weeks ago to make a graduation card for someone qualifing to become a Podiatrist.  This City Girl stamp is from Whiff of Joy, coloured with my "the works" paints.  The little feet are made with a Sizzix Paddle Punch and handmade the scroll.  Sentiment printed of the computer and zig-zag border done with MS punch.  The challenges covered are:-

Baby Boy Stepper Card

Good evening peeps, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.  My lost post has never turned up - so must be lost in Cyber-Space for ever more ..... sometimes I think I end up there too.... hehehe.

I really enjoyed making this card as a had chance to experiment and play with this card, as I had never made the little baby booties as a card box before.  Also managed to get any excess aggression out by using my Sizzix duck & teddy punches and hammer... lol.

The woman and baby image is from Whiff of Joy.  Gingham paper was from stash and sentiment was printed off computer.  Other tools used where Nestibilities, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, blue chalk ink for colouring round edges.  Liquid pearls to decorate ducks & teddies.  The challenges covered are:-

Which Doctor?.........

Well, I rather liked George Clooney as Dr Ross, or Richard Chamberlain as Dr Kildare, but I like my favourite still has to be David Tennant as Doctor Who  (although Matt Smith is doing a fabby job at the moment too!!!).  I'm more a Sci-Fi geek freak than a slushy smooth talker fan and I would like a wee hurle is the T.A.R.D.I.S. anytime to face the Darleks or the Cybermen.

I have had this stamp from Whiff of Joy for ages and finally have managed to make a card with him.  Quite a simple card with lots of embossing with my Cuttlebug folders using up some plain white and blue card stock. Inking round the edges with a red chalk ink. I don't have a Get Well sentiment stamp so used some peel-offs.  Other tools used was a Martha Stewart border punch and Oval Nesties.  The challenges covered are:-

The image is Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy.  The design papers are from DCVW.  The heart diecut is from Sizzixlits, flowers and pearl brad are from stash and I have used my MS leaf punch and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Stuck at home ....

Yes, the weather has beaten me this morning.  I managed about 5 miles up the road but had to turn back, the roads were really, really bad, even the 4 wheel drive jeeps in front of me were slip-sliding over the place.  So I have made a hard decision to play at my table today...lol.

This fabulous Charlie image is from Whiff of Joy.  The snowflakes are a mixture of diecuts, punches and brads.  The DP is from stash, sentiment printed off computer and also used my MS edge punch and snowflake cuttlebug folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Autumn Whiff of Joy

An early start for me this morning, the pussycats were wide awake at 6am wanting out and to attract my attention they dive-bomb me from the windowsill to me laying in the bed - phoaw!!! Onyx is no light weight so for my own protection I got up and let them out........lol. So washing is done and hanging out, whizzed round with the hoover and duster and deedaa!!! - time to play!!!.

I finished off this card that I had started last night.  I am a wee bit unsure about with this one, I know what I wanted to do in my head but didn't really come out on paper.  The image is from Whiff of Joy, the backing papers are from a Laura Ashley paperpack.  The wine bottle & glasses are from a Woodware clear stamp collection. My charm is actually a cocktail glass charm,  Ribbon, flowers and leaves are from stash and the sentiment is printed from computer.  The challenges combined in thus card are:-

Crimbo Card

I'm afraid I couldn't bring myself to start on Xmas until after July was out even though I know I will be stressed out by October trying to get everything all done. So be warned in advance that it will be Christmas Card Central on here for the next few months. I had the most enjoyable day yesterday crafting with my Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) and managed to make a few cards inbetween the laughter.

I dug out this Charlie stamp from Whiff of Joy.  The DP are from Dovecrafts, snowflake, brad and mini pompoms are from stash.  The challenges I have entered this card into are:-
Hope you all are having a lovely weekend and speak soon.

Sun is shining.........

A lovely sunny morning to you all............ this is a bit more like Spring now!!!!.... Been out in the garden already today tidying it up but I need to take a trip to the garden centre for some flowers to brighten it up rather than just grass and bushes!

I was playing away last night and I came up with this little creation.  I have had these hatpins for ages but was never sure what to do with them (everyone else makes it look so easy!!...lol).  It took me the whole evening to try and get it right and 'coz I have run out of silicone a while ago I ended up just pinning it through the flower.  The umbrella I popped some Stickles on to glitz it up a bit.  Also I used one of my new MS punches for the frilly borders.  The challenges I have covered in this card are:-

Whiff of Joy  -  Sketch
Ooh La La  -  April Showers
My Time to Craft  -  "On the Spot!"

That's it for another year.....

Good morning everyone and I hope that everyone has survived the day.  Santa spoiled me once again and I had a lovely day.  We did some visiting then went to the local Indian Restaurant for dinner, I was stuffed and brought a doggy bag home and then did some more visiting in the evening. Hoping that today is just a chill-out PJ day.  Looking forward to hearing about everyone else's day.

I am starting to get crafting withdrawal symptoms as not been at my table for a few days now.  Here are a couple of cards I did at the start of the week.  This first one is using the lovely Demure stamp from Sugar Nellie.  I have entered her into the challenges over at Charisma Cardz - "Anything but Christmas" and Colour Create Challenge - Pink, Burgundy & Ivory with Roses.

This cheeky character is Wee from Whiff of Joy and  he is just delightful and I have used him for Stamp Something - "Christmas".

A Couple of Cards

Afternoon folks, hope all are having a lovely weekend.  I, myself, is just chilling out at my table and hopefully the creative juices are flowing......as well as the wine .........hehehe.

This first card I have used Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy and used the wonderful sketch by Mojo Monday. Tried my hand at some doodling..lol.  Papers are from the English Paper Co. and snowflake diecuts are from Nestabilities - build a snowflake.  The challenge over at Stampin' for the Weekend is Christmas with Red, Green & Gold and Stampavie & more is "Christmas".

This card I have used Hamish from Sugar Nellie and copied the sketch from Just Christmas & Birthday Challenge Blog.  Papers are from Dovecraft (I think) and used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Embossing Folder. The challenge across at My Time to Craft is "Winter Pals" and Paperplay Challenge is Christmas without Red or Green.

3 in 1 challenge card

Back again, would have been here a lot sooner but it seems that the "Borrowers" are away with my memory card out my camera.  I had it one minute and then the next..........it's disappeared.  I have hunted high & low and it has gone ........puff............ I had to go and dig out another camera and take a photo over again.

I had chance to play with one of my new stamps from Whiff of Joy, this character is called Wee and I think he is so delightful.  The backing papers are from Forever Friends and I had used various diecut/punched snowflakes.

The challenges I have incorporated are:-

Why do things disappear???  I have to admit it is happening more & more to me - is this a sign of old age?  lol   I have the wrinkles to prove it - don't need a dotty mind as well (some would argue that my dotty brain has been there for a while...........lol)

Anyway, before I forget to actually post this I shall go and pop the washing in the fridge...........lol.
