Nice day for a White Wedding

Good morning, and a lovely sunny morning it is too, though I don't think it is going to last long as I can see dark clouds heading my way. Lol.. Oh, well, good excuse to head to my craft table and not venture out...lol..

I am off work on holiday this week, nothing planned so it will probably be a few days out here and these, a few pub lunches and I am hoping a few hours crafting...lol.

I am seriously low in our charity cards for weddings, anniversaries and baby cards and needing to make some for a few craft fairs coming up next month so here is a start.  The  card is made using square and heart Nesties, embossing folders, gems and bows from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Bundle of fun

Afternoon peeps, back for my second post of today and making the most of the last day of my holibags.  I am trying to use up some stash that I have been hoarding for years and years as it must be at least 10 years since I started down the card making root, and have been addicted ever since..lol..  and I wouldn't change a thing as I have met some lovely peeps along the way.

This image is a sticker from above said stash hoard,  paper is free from a magazine cover.  Gems and sentiment from a forever friends elements pack.  Tool used is a cuttlebug border embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Exploding box - 21st Birthday

Good afternoon peeps. So sorry for not being on lately, it has been a bit hectic at work lately but it has started to settle down a bit now.  We have also had quite a few stalls for the Brionni Trust so have been madly making quick cards to bulk up stock.  In fact we have another stall tomorrow, this time in Kinross, so looking forward to it as it is a new area for us.

I decided to try something new today so this is my first attempt at an exploding box.  I actually quite enjoyed making this.  I have embellished it with recycled embellishments off old birthday cards.  The blank areas are photos of the intended.  In the middle is one of those battery tea light candles which I have decorated with scrap papers, liquid pearls and butterfly punches.  The challenges covered are:-

Easel Mothers Day Card

Good morning all, up bright and early this morning as watching Andy Murray in the Australian Tennis Open Final on the television. Fingers crossed for him. Also it is a good excuse to be at my table early and snub the housework ...hehe..

I have a busy week ahead as I have started a evening course in web design on Tuesdays and this coming Thursday I start a evening course in sign language - it's like being back at school, only this time I'll pay attention more ...lol..

Our first craft fair for the Brionni Trust is at the end of February so I am trying to make some Easter and Mothers Day cards and gifts to sell then. Here is one of the cards I have done so far. The sentiment was printed off the computer and framed with a Sizzix diecut. Flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, pearl brads and lace are from stash. The challenges covered are:-

Don't Mess with my Tu-tu

Afternoon peeps - Yay! - It's the weekend - Whoop Whoop! Hope you are all looking forward to it.  I am playing Nurse Nancy this weekend.  Barry had an operation on his nose yesterday (which was also his 40th Birthday) and has been discharged today so I am at his beck and call for the next few days until he is back on his feet.  I am hoping to get a few hours in for playing though - fingers crossed.

This card is one I had made a week or so ago but never got round to blogging.  I am loving making stepper cards just now.  The beautiful decoupaged image is a Paintbox Poppets one from Crafter's Companion.  The flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Sentiment printed off computer and the pearls are from stash.  Tools used are the Script embossing folder from Cuttlebug and Marianne Creations Swirl Diecut.  The challenges covered are:-

Paperplay Challenges  -  Simply Cute

It's a Jungle out there

Morning peeps!  Hope you are all having a great weekend.  Typical - I'm on holiday from work for a week  now and I'm full of the sniffles with this darn cold... lol...

The cheeky monkeys are clear stamps from Hero's and the zebra & big leaf  is a Stickeroo from Penny Black.  The backing paper is from a Forever Friends paperpack.  Tools used are my Circle & Rectangular Nesties and Swiss Dots embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Top Tip Tuesday  -  It's all about Circles
Crafts 4 Eternity  -  Crazy Circles
Totally Gorjuss  -  Leaf it in!

P.S. - My top tip is when cutting out my images, especially when there is small tricky bits, is to use nail scissors as they have a curved blade which I find helps.

    Male Card

Evening folks, hope all is well.  Trying my very best to get round everyone of you for a catch-up - I will get there eventually. I have been spending the last few days moving furniture around the house as Baz has finally got his wish, the spare room is now his games room.  I was gonna make it the craft room - but it now means I have all the downstairs which includes - TV, Hifi, laptop and kitchen ...... lol.

Anyway, I did squeeze one card in.  I used the fabby sketch over at Truly Scrumptious, they also had an added challenge of incorporating a bit of gingham.  Across at Totally Gorjuss and Magical Crafts, both their challenges were Male/Father's Day.

I haven't used Hamish Rugby Player from Sugar Nellie for ages and since Scotland is not in the football World Cup, we will try our luck with rugby instead ...lol. I did my usual, and embossed white card with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and popped some card candys in the corners.  The sentiment is pre-printed one off the computer from my stash pile  (looks like I might have to wait on Santa coming for a new printer) and I also found a little rugby ball brad which I popped on.
