Easel Card

Good afternoon, a warm but windy welcome to everyone.  Hope you are all enjoying your weekend, and especially those on a Bank Holiday Weekend.  I haven't been up to much mischief lately (oh, apart from a wee cheeky purchase from Funky Kits...hehehe ..... a couple of stamps just fell into my checkout basket - honestly!) The kind postman delivered them yesterday but I have not had chance to play with them yet.

I have only previously made a few easel cards and I don't know why I don't make more - they are so simple to do.  The bear stamp is from Forever Friends which I have added some stickles to his hat.  The design papers are from a Papermania Christmas paperpack.  The white card is embossed with a snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder and I used my Martha Stewart zig-zag border punch.  Ribbon, holly stalk and sentiments are all from stash.  The challenges for this card are:-

ABC Xmas - 'Q' is for Quick & Easy

Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  The weather here today is not as nice as yesterday so it is a good excuse to stay indoors....lol.

A lot of people kindly donate their old Christmas cards to me to help raise money for The Brionni Trust and I generally recycle them in one way or another.  Most of the time I cut them up to make gift tags but there is always a few that are "too gorgeous" to re-use in that way so I pop them to the side until I figure out a well deserved destiny for them.

The challenge across at ABC Christmas Challenge Blog fits that purpose for quite a few of them.  It is to use the sketch and make multiple cards under the theme "Quick & Easy".  The cards are made with plain black & white card, embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folders. and I  placed black Stickles in the corners.

2nd Post today - Another Xmas Card

Evening peeps, on with my second card of the day.  I must "faff" about too much as I've been at my table most of the day and have not much to show for it....lol.... and now my peace & quiet is shattered as Barry is back from the watching football.

Anyway I had a wee play with some decoupage bears, they are really cute aren't they.  The DP is from a DCVW Xmas Stack.  Ribbon and sentiments are from stash.  The challenges covered this time are:-

Moving Along with the Times & Spoonfull of Sugar

Good evening peeps.  We have had another glorious day here again, that's three in a row, must be a record... lol...... and what a shame I was sitting in a office at work looking out! .... lol.  I am just sneaking on with a card I made this evening before my back decided that enough was enough!  It has been quite painful recently so sitting at my table is kinda of a chore.  Anyway that's my wee mumble over and back to the crafting and it's another Xmas card.  I followed the fabulous sketch over at Moving Along with the Times and across at Spoonful of Sugar it is "Christmas"  (handy ...lol).

This cute mouse image is from one of the Penny Black Clear Stamps Range.  Papers are DCVW with the flower from stash.  The sentiment is printed from the PC.

Baby Girl Card

Evening everyone, hope you are having much better weather then here in Central Scotland.  I am home alone this evening as Barry is away to the football (Stenhousemuir v Dundee) in the ALBA Cup, so I am planning to make a card or two.  I am starting with this little baby girl card.

I am afraid I do not know where the image is from but I have coloured with my paints and added some gold Stickles.  The DP are from my scraps drawer.  The emossing is done by a Cuttlebug Embossing Folder and the brads, ribbon and baby's dummy are from stash.  The challenges I have covered are:-

Crimbo Card

I'm afraid I couldn't bring myself to start on Xmas until after July was out even though I know I will be stressed out by October trying to get everything all done. So be warned in advance that it will be Christmas Card Central on here for the next few months. I had the most enjoyable day yesterday crafting with my Lesley (aka Pinkles Dreams) and managed to make a few cards inbetween the laughter.

I dug out this Charlie stamp from Whiff of Joy.  The DP are from Dovecrafts, snowflake, brad and mini pompoms are from stash.  The challenges I have entered this card into are:-
Hope you all are having a lovely weekend and speak soon.

New Home Card

Afternoon peeps, well, on with my first card of the day.  One of the girls at work has asked for a new home card for a lady who likes DIY, so after a few play abouts, I came up with this,

The house stamp is from a 99p bargain bucket I think.  I had great fun making it into a picture using acetate and some wood effect card.  The DP paper is from K & Co. and I have used Sizzix dies for the handyman tools.  The challenges I have entered this into are:-
Hopefully will be back later with another (depending on how well the red wine goes down!!....lol).

The Weekend is here...........

Yippee - the weekend is here and I am planning a very serious craft-a-thon starting this evening and finishing on Sunday evening.  The supermarket journey was done on my way home from work so I should not have to venture out again!!!  I feel really guilty I haven't been on lately but fear not, with the football season back on I should be crafting again as normal now at my table.

I have used "Porridge" from the homegrown Sugar Nellie range and the DP paper is from DCVW.  My leaves are made by using my MS punch and the flowers, gems and brads are from stash.  The challenges I am entering this card in are:-
My batteries are charged and patiently waiting (foot tapping) for Baza to finish his dinner so I can get to my table to play!!!!!!!!
