Daisy, Daisy ......

Morning troops, nipping on for a quick post before I head out later this morning.  I am off to the football with Barry, his beloved team Dundee is playing locally at Alloa so we are heading to the pub and then the footie and probably back to the pub ...lol..   Can't have a sore head for tomorrow though as we have a craft stall for the Brionni Trust in the afternoon.

I have used good old Daisy for this card, I think she is my all time favourite stamp.  Did a wee bit of faux stitching around her.  Papers are from my scrap drawer, ribbon, brad and flower are from stash.  Tools uses are my Nesties and Martha Stewart Border punch.  The challenges covered are:-

Friends will be Friends

Evening folks .... Back again ... You will all be sick of the sight of me - blogging 5 days in a row, that's a world record for me ... Lol..  This will be me for a wee while as I have some commissioned cards to make and I can't blog them until the receiver has them .

The image is a pre-coloured one from Lili of the Valley and the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  The sentiment diecut is unknown still, sorry.  The designer paper is from Papermania.  Ribbon and pearls are from stash.  Tools used are my Nesties and an embossing folder.  The challenges covered this evening are:-

Exploding box - 21st Birthday

Good afternoon peeps. So sorry for not being on lately, it has been a bit hectic at work lately but it has started to settle down a bit now.  We have also had quite a few stalls for the Brionni Trust so have been madly making quick cards to bulk up stock.  In fact we have another stall tomorrow, this time in Kinross, so looking forward to it as it is a new area for us.

I decided to try something new today so this is my first attempt at an exploding box.  I actually quite enjoyed making this.  I have embellished it with recycled embellishments off old birthday cards.  The blank areas are photos of the intended.  In the middle is one of those battery tea light candles which I have decorated with scrap papers, liquid pearls and butterfly punches.  The challenges covered are:-

Kenny K - Mothers Day

Evening peeps, back with the second post of the day. I am so trying to be uber organised this year that I have started already on Easter and Mother's Day for stock. This is one of the cards I have done.

The funky image is a pre coloured one from Kenny K's Downloads and the sentiment is one I have printed off the computer inked edges by chalk inks and cut out using my rectangle Nesties. The backing papers are from a Papermania paperback. The challenges covered or this card are:-

One Idea - Two Cards

Good evening to my lovely followers.  Sorry I have not been on for a couple of days.  Full of good intentions, but never managed to get to the dining room table to play!!!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  I was playing nurse maid to Barry who had "Man-Flu", and I discovered yet again, I have not got the right patience for being a nurse ....lol .... I will have to teach myself tolerance ... how do I do that??? .. lol.

So to help compensate my lack of TLC, I let Barry take me shopping (yes, he was well enough to do that!!!)......and gasp!! ...... I know, I must have been feeling really REALLY guilty for me to go to the shops ... and what did we come back back with ......... a new bed!! ......... if Baza had his way, it would have been one of those fancy electric adjustable ones with the flip-up TV screen in the footrest... lol.

My one idea over the weekend was to make to use one of my many Sizzix dies that of late have been left abandoned in a box under the stairs since I have fallen in love with rubber stamping and try and create something with them and here are the results.....

Along with the Sizzix House die, I have used 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders (Swiss Dots and another).  Design paper from scrap pile.  Ribbon, brad and charm from stash.  Circle stamped sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  The challenges covered on this card are:-

This card has been made similar - but different (if that makes any sense!!!) I was trying to make it look more masculine by not using any DP's and using straight lines instead of any curves.  The ribbon and sentiments are from stash.  The challenges covered on this card are:-

New Home Card

Afternoon peeps, well, on with my first card of the day.  One of the girls at work has asked for a new home card for a lady who likes DIY, so after a few play abouts, I came up with this,

The house stamp is from a 99p bargain bucket I think.  I had great fun making it into a picture using acetate and some wood effect card.  The DP paper is from K & Co. and I have used Sizzix dies for the handyman tools.  The challenges I have entered this into are:-
Hopefully will be back later with another (depending on how well the red wine goes down!!....lol).

Dutch Dare - so Charming

Morning peeps, just a quick post before nipping off to work as I forgot to pop this on last night. I was so tired I crawled upstairs to my bed and konked out straight away and I must have been snoring away as I have woken up with a sore throat!......lol.......... plus the pussycats had their ear plugs in!.
I needed a break from Chrimbo cards and did this wedding card for Dutch Dare. Their challenge was "So Charming" . I used one of my Whiff of Joy stamps, backing papers are from K & Co, and charm from stash.
Have a lovely day and look forward to catching up in all the gossip later on.

Cute Card & Dutch Dare

Am I on a roll or what!....lol. Proberly peeked too soon....lol. Back with another 2 cards for challenges. It is amazing what you can get done when the footie is on....
Over a Cute Card Thursday - "Is a Sporting Chance", seems quite apt today with the footie, golf, car racing on the box - if you can't bet them, join them....

So have done a male card using a wee cheeky Forever Friends Sticker. They really are quite handy a quick card and they are just so cute. The trophy is made with a Sizzix diecut. Backing paper are scraps from my drawer.
Dutch Dare is "Bling, bling/Glitter", and I just could not refuse using Dressing-up Maggie. She must be my ultimate favourite stamp.

I have used my Silver Stickles to make her sparkle. These nestabilities are a god send when making these squares. Backing papers used were from the English Paper Co.
Hopefully back later with some more):.
