Santa Baby

Good afternoon, back again with a second card of the day.  I would have been on earlier but the laptop had "a moment" ...lol.  It would not switch on and then when eventually it decided to start up it just stood with a blank screen......... technology!!!.  So I just switched it back off for an hour and switched it back on - seems to be fine on (fingers crossed.. lol|).

Anyway, I still love this Santa stamp and used a lilac/blue inkpad.  The papers are from The English Paper Co. Snowflake are Sizzix diecuts and I popped a couple of card candy's on the top and used some border peel offs.  The challenges covered on this card are:-

Easel Card

Good afternoon, a warm but windy welcome to everyone.  Hope you are all enjoying your weekend, and especially those on a Bank Holiday Weekend.  I haven't been up to much mischief lately (oh, apart from a wee cheeky purchase from Funky Kits...hehehe ..... a couple of stamps just fell into my checkout basket - honestly!) The kind postman delivered them yesterday but I have not had chance to play with them yet.

I have only previously made a few easel cards and I don't know why I don't make more - they are so simple to do.  The bear stamp is from Forever Friends which I have added some stickles to his hat.  The design papers are from a Papermania Christmas paperpack.  The white card is embossed with a snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder and I used my Martha Stewart zig-zag border punch.  Ribbon, holly stalk and sentiments are all from stash.  The challenges for this card are:-

ABC Xmas - 'Q' is for Quick & Easy

Afternoon everyone, I hope you are all enjoying your weekend.  The weather here today is not as nice as yesterday so it is a good excuse to stay indoors....lol.

A lot of people kindly donate their old Christmas cards to me to help raise money for The Brionni Trust and I generally recycle them in one way or another.  Most of the time I cut them up to make gift tags but there is always a few that are "too gorgeous" to re-use in that way so I pop them to the side until I figure out a well deserved destiny for them.

The challenge across at ABC Christmas Challenge Blog fits that purpose for quite a few of them.  It is to use the sketch and make multiple cards under the theme "Quick & Easy".  The cards are made with plain black & white card, embossed with Cuttlebug embossing folders. and I  placed black Stickles in the corners.

2nd Post today - Another Xmas Card

Evening peeps, on with my second card of the day.  I must "faff" about too much as I've been at my table most of the day and have not much to show for it....lol.... and now my peace & quiet is shattered as Barry is back from the watching football.

Anyway I had a wee play with some decoupage bears, they are really cute aren't they.  The DP is from a DCVW Xmas Stack.  Ribbon and sentiments are from stash.  The challenges covered this time are:-

First Card of the day - Snowy

A very good afternoon to you lovely peeps.  Washing is out (and hopefully will stay on line as it is rather breezy here...lol) and a few housework jobs done, well I have got to save a couple back for tomorrow..lol.  So on with a bit of playing at the table and since the glitter was still out from last night I'd thought I would make another sparkly card.

I so love Snowy from Penny Black, he makes me all cuddly inside..lol.  The papers are from DCVW and I have used various diecut snowflakes.  The challenges for this card are:-
