Keeping with the Tennis, the brand new challenge blog, Moving Along with the Times have got a super sketch to get our teeth into and to incorporate the colour combo of "Strawberries & Cream with Chocolate" Pop over and check it out the Design Team work is FAB. I have also done this card for the challenge over at Charisma Cardz - "Rubbernecker Week - Any Style, Any Theme".
I just couldn't help myself using this Gorjuss Girl from Sugar Nellie. She reminds me so much of the girl that was in Just William - "I'll scream and scream and scream until I'm Sick", that one, (can't remember her name but it was Bonnie Langford that played her!) Veronica Salt keeps coming into my mind, but she is from Willie Wonker & the Chocolate Factory. (had to double-check my typing there - didn't want any rude slip-ups....lol). Away to Goggle name now as it's bugging me!!!! - update - Violet Elizabeth Bott hugs Kaza.xxx
Welcome to my own little bubble of cyber-space dedicated mostly to card crafting and just a little bit of talking nonsense!!!!

Whiff of Joy
A very sunny afternoon to everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your day. I am having a very lazy day (wish I had some ice cream in the freezer) as it is starting to warm up nicely here. Over at Whiff of Joy it is a fabulous sketch by Heather.
Don't ask me why I decided to do a Xmas card in the height of summer!!!! Put it down to sun stroke.......lol..........and the fact I had just got my Charlie stamp and have been itching to use him.
Backing papers are I think from Dovecraft. Pompom thread is from my local Tesco's (was a bargain ages ago for about 10p!), brads from stash and wording was computer printed.
Back to watching the tennis, haven't any strawberries to munch on - so a couple of plums will have to do!!.

Sugar Bowl
Evening Peeps, posting & watching Andy Murray playing Tennis at the same time here so I apologise for any typing errors.........lol.
This is my attempt for the sketch challenge over at Sugar Bowl, the cards created by everyone over there are simply gorgeous. There is an added twist to incorporate kraft (brown) in it.
I have used little Nellie from the Halloween collection as I think she is just purr-fect!....lol. Backing papers are a mixture of DCWV and Daisy & Dandelion and sentiment is from a PB Stickeroo sheet.
New Balls Please!!!!!!..................lol Hugs Kaza.xxx

Forever Friends
Afternoon peeps. Still here and playing away although I don't know how much longer as dinner is being made at the moment & will have to clear my table - poo!!!!!.
The challenge over at Forever Friends is "Torn Edges", so I used some of my scraps up. The image is from one of the decoupage diecut kits, which I find really good as I have no patience in cutting out. Brads & sentiments are from stash.
This afternoon has been an expensive one for me - my own fault! - I let El Bazabing go out on his own, unsupervised, to the shops (he loves shopping - I loath it!). Bad mistake! He has come back laden full. He claims it is for our holidays, trousers, shirts and a new camera! We have about 3 cameras already - but oh no - this one is much better and lighter and does this & that, blah, blah, blah...... gadget daft he is - Is it a man thing????

60th Birthday
My good friend's Mum is 60 next month, she is a lovely women and she kinda has been like a 2nd mum to me over the years so we are going out for dinner in a couple of weeks to celebrate. She is young at heart and goes to see Robbie Williams, she even trudged all the way down to Knebworth with us!.
Coloured the PB image with my paints, flowers from stash and backing papers are from Papermania. Used my Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder. I used the sketch over at Cupcake Craft.

The Pink Elephant & Stamp Something
Gosh, its not midday yet I have made another. This doesn't happen very often........lol. Never mind, I'm enjoying myself in my own little bubble playing. Baza will be home soon from the golf and my peace will be shattered.
Over at the TPE it is a sketch and at Stamp Something it is to use at least 3 embellishments.
The PB image has been coloured beautifully by Lesley and her magic Pro-makers (saves me buying them.....lol) and the embellies are from stash that never seems to go down but you always HAVE to add to!........lol.

Just Magnolia
Morning all! Can't believe it! - my chance of a long lie in and Ting! - wide awake. So I thought I might as well get up. I have started at my table and already my back is sore - boo hiss! That's me tried every chair in the house now so I will have to put it down to the table's fault!....lol.
Managed so far to do a card for the challenge over at Just Magnolia, it is a lovely sketch by Bev. One of my friend's little girls will be 2 next month so I thought I would try and be a bit organised.
Will be back later.

I'm Back - Mojo Monday & ABC
Sorry peeps for not being on for ages - had a lot on. So this is me back at my table and hopefully will be able to create away all day tomorrow. To get me back in the swing of it I have combined the challenges over at Mojo Monday & ABC, their challenges were a sketch and "Two Tone" respectively.
I was supposed to be at a 40th yesterday (Friday) but unfortunately I couldn't make it. So I have made a wee card to post instead. I had used one of the Gorjuss Girls from Sugar Nellie and papers from stash.
Will catch up with everyone soon. Hugs Kaza.xxx

Winter Wonderland, Allsorts & Stamptacular Sunday
Evening everyone and a special welcome to a couple of new followers - Hello!!!!. Not been up to much so far this week, found it quite hard to sit at my table 'coz of a sore back, brought the computer chair down from the spare room but that didn't help and then Baza brought home a chair that one of this work fellows was throwing out but unfortunately it hasn't helped either. Might have it ask Baza for a back massage.........lol.........rather have a fish supper!!!.....lol.
Back to the challenges, managed again to do a 2 in 1 card. Winter Wonderland is "Let it Snow" and Allsorts is Triangles.
Painted Milly with Snowman and added a little sparkle with some silver Stickles. Backing papers are from Papermania and finished off with a giant snowflake.
Since it is Fathers Day coming up on Sunday and I will be away to see Gary and the boys (hasn't quite sure if I had mentioned Take That - Hamden - Sunday......lol) I thought I better make a card for Baza from the cats Onyx & Jazz. Luckily for me Stamptacular Sunday's challenge is "Fathers Day" .
I cheated a little bit by using a stickeroo from Penny Black as it had the No.1 rosette. Backing paper from the DCWV Cat Scrap booking Kit as is the 2 cat stickers I used for the inside as they similar to my 2 fur balls I have at home.

Daring Cardmakers
Back again and as since we seem to have had our summer already I decided to cheer myself by going the challenge over at Daring Cardmakers - "Sizzling Hot!!!"
I raided by scrap drawer to pick out various shades of yellow, orange and red. The image is from a set of clear set of stamps I picked up somewhere and the sentiment is a rub on.
hugs
Creative Inspirations & One Stop Craft
Morning peeps, hope everyone is well. Day off today and I am hopefully on standby at the hairdressers - waited too long for an appointment and now they are full so if someone cancels they will give me a tinkle. Fingers-crossed as the grey hairs are coming through thick and fast and I have to look my best for TAKE THAT on Sunday - Woo-Hoo!!! can't wait, so looking forward to it.
Creative Inspirations this week is to create something other than a card, these kind of ideas are out of my comfort zone so I have done a bookmark to start me off.
I popped a stamped image on it and a couple of flowers. To be honest, I'm not sure how else I could have decorated it so please give me your hints & tips for this.
Saturday's challenge over at One stop Craft is "Add some sparkle". So I think I have "bling-ed" this princess up to the max!..........lol
The image was painted with my paints. I had problems trying to fit her in the Nestie hence why she is at a jaunty angle........lol. The backing paper is something that is been at the very bottom of my stash since I started card making.
Hopefully back on again (with a new hairdo.....lol) hugs Kaza.xxx

Cute Card Thursday
Afternoon everyone. I am redeeming myself slowing from my earlier slip.......lol. Trying to speed my redemption by using two stamped images on the card!!!!.
The theme over at Cute Card Thursday is "Quotations". My printer is still not working (all it needs is ink but it is soooo expensive I'd rather spend my pennies on stamps...lol) so giving you one of my own quotes (Karen-isms) was out of the question. So, luckily (for you guys!) I had a quote stack from DCVW at hand.
The two Magnolia Tilda's were coloured by my paints. Backing paper is from the DCVW Spring Stack. Ribbon & flowers from my ever growing stash. (Sorry about the photo - every picture came out super shiney)
Baza is currently fast asleep on the sofa so I am in charge of the remote control......yay!..... and yet what am I watching..................flicking between the Tennis and Cricket.....why!..lol.
hugs Kaza.xxx
I've been a bad girl!!!!
And, I might add, it was not all my fault!!!!! One or two of you out there are to blame (and you know who you are). My crime...........................................
I bought a couple of the new Whiff of Joy stamps that went on sale at midnight!........lol
Naughty, naughty peeps, telling me about these super, gorgeous stamps.............I just could not resist.....lol.
Now I have to pay my penance and play with the stamps I already have to justify my purchase.
Once again, NOT ALL MY FAULT!!!!!. hugs Kaza.xxx

Managed to do another card will 2 challenges in 1 (I'm slowly learning all these multi tasks.....lol).
This is Creative Card Crew - Geometric Patterns and over at Forever Friends - Citrus Twist.
I have used the new 3 dimensional stickers from FF, papers from Papermania and peel off & brads from stash. (Printer still not playing)
Have a good day and see you all later. hugs Kaza.xxx

Magnolia Down Under & ABC
I am still in shock 'coz it is still sunny!!!!.....lol.......washing is dry - Yay!. Got the doors & windows open breathing in the fresh air - it's a good job I don't suffer from hay fever.
This is the first time, I think, that I have managed to incorporate 2 challenges into 1 card. Magnolia Down Under - "All About A Boy" and ABC Challenge is "R for Roses".
Love this Edwin holding the roses, he is delightful, coloured with my paints. Backing papers are from DCWV, shapes cut out with oval Nesties and brads & ribbon from stash.
Gosh, all the this crafting builds up an appetite, I'm popping away to make a quick sarnie, mmmm........ chicken tikka sounds good.
Hugs

Winter Wonderland
A very good sunny morning to everyone. Day off today and hoping to play, play, play......lol. Finished this card last night for the challenge over at Winter Wonderland - the theme is Christmas Carol. I decided upon "While Shepherds Flocked" and while humming and singing along to slightly altered wording to the original I managed not to get into character by popping a tea towel on me heid........lol.I just love this image from Penny Black and I have coloured it with my paints from The Works (they were such a bargain at £2.99 and I use them all the time and they are lasting ages & ages). Just off to do a couples of wee jobs about the house and then back for more........ See you all soon. Hugs Kaza.xxx

Charisma Cardz & Allsorts
Evening peeps, thought I'd pop these 2 challenges on just now before I have my tea this evening. Over at Charisma Cardz it is a Colour Combo Challenge - Pink & Brown.
I have used a image from stash and papers are from the DCWV Spring Stack. Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. Oval & Label Nesties. Sentiment was hand written by myself. Brads, gem & ribbon were from stash.
I came across the Allsorts Challenge a wee while ago when I was blog-hopping on Dido's Designs (aka Hazel) one day. It is a fairly new site and this week it was also a Colour Combo Challenge - Pink & White. Which was ideal for me with these baby cards to make.
I got this pram stamp in the bargain dumpbins at my local Paper Mill Shop - 99p. Used my Swiss Dots embossing folder and the old faithful Nesties. My stash of peeloffs have been coming in really handy at the moment with my printer not working still.Tummy is rumbling so way to see what I can rustle up in the kitchen (looks like it is scrambled eggs on toast......lol........as cooking is not my strongest asset).

Forever Friends & Daisy 'n' Dandelion
Evening all folks, hope all is OK in Blogland and are enjoying the last of the weekend. I have managed a few cards today which has been really really nice to sit and do and relax.
The 1st one is for the Forever Friends sketch challenge. I think I have just managed to squeeze this in before the cut off time.
I have used one of the decoupaged kits and the backing paper is also from FF. Stamped sentiment is from the Stampin' Up range.
This next card is for the Daisy & Dandelion challenge and it is one I have been following but this is the first time I have actually made & entered but I loved the Black & White theme along with a sketch.
I have used a sticker I got free from the Docrafts Magazine. All 3 size's of daisy's are punches from Woodware and I popped a wee gem in each of the centres of the flowers. Off now to start watching the final of the Apprentice which is recording up stairs. Hugs Kaza. xxx
"I'm a Real Winter Wonderland Winner!!!"
Woo-Hoo!!!!. Lucky, lucky me has won the Blog Candy over at the fabulous new Winter Wonderland Challenge Blog. I am so chuffed to bits.
Will be back on hopefully later as in the middle of making cards for the girl at work, Louise, who has had her baby - girl - yesterday morning. Little Eilidh Beth was a whopping 9lb 14oz born by Cesarean, (gosh, I nearly had visions of her pushing something the size of a pumpkin through something the size of a grape!!!!.......lol).
Catch ya all later Hugs Kaza.xxx

Friday Sketchers
Me again, I'm a bit surprised myself as I thought I would be have been having big Z's on the couch (maybe after dinner)...lol. This is my take on the sketch over at Friday Sketchers. Another girl at the work asked me to make her a Get Well Soon card.
I have used Forever Friends Diecut Decoupage which is great as I am useless at cutting out and seem to have no patience for it either. The Backing paper is from the same FF kit. Used the Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. Flowers & GWS sentiment is from stash.
Hugs

Mojo Monday
Afternoon to everyone. Hope you are all enjoying your Friday and looking forward to the weekend ahead. This is my day off and working over the weekend - Boo Hiss......lol. and boy, had I needed today off, I am totally shattered as been doing long hours in the shop with hardly any breaks. My head feels half asleep still, and that's after about half a dozen coffees......lol.
So I am doing no housework today and want to relax at my table so I have started today with a great sketch over at Mojo Monday. One of the girls at work had asked me a make a 1st Birthday card for a wee boy so I thought the sketch just fitted fine.
The image is, I think, a Stamping Up one which I coloured & then added some 3D gloss over the icing. Backing paper from a Forever Friends Decoupage Kit.
Hopefully I will be back again, if I don't fall asleep on the couch. Hugs Kaza xxx
