Love You!

Here I am again, back with a second.  You would never have guessed that there is football on the telly so that is why I am getting some peace & quiet this afternoon ....lol.  Might be pushing my luck trying to squeeze a third in after this though, as teatime is looming.

The cute image is from Penny Black, the papers were a freebie in a magazine. Flowers, brad and sentiment are from stash.  Leaves cut from punch.  The challenges covered are:-

Male Card

Afternoon peeps, sorry I have not been on for a while, just not had chance to be honest.  Hopefully I can make it up today as I am planning a little play at my table and fingers crossed I can be more productive than I was last week.

It is male card madness in my family over the next few months so I am trying to be ahead of myself.  The decoupage sheet of cars I got at the SECC Craft fair back in October but I don't know which stall.  The rest of bits of card, ie,  Silver Card Candy, sentiment and black peel-offs are from stash.  The challenges covers are:-

Party On!!!

Good afternoon to you lovely peeps.  Hope you are all having a lovely weekend.  So far, I am having a rather chilly and foggy one, it hasn't lifted here since Thursday, hopefully we might see some sunshine tomorrow and the temperature will rise above the -5 it has been!! brrrrrrrrrrr....

I have been looking forward to this evening for a while,  I am heading out shortly to stay overnight with a girl friend of mine, there are other friends staying over too that we have not met up together for a good few years with them moving away and then back nearby again.  I can sense quite alot of story telling, photo sharing, laughter, tears, singing and a few bottles of wine being disposed off ....  carnage!!!  I don't think there is enough beds to go round so I have packed my sleeping bag and then I have no concerns for when I am tired  ( lol ...... new name to myself - "Martini" - anytime, anyplace, anywhere...lol).

Anyway,  I have had a few hours this afternoon to play at my table and managed to make one card, yes, I am getting slower rather than quicker...lol.  The cheek of it too is that I have used a Stickeroo from Penny Black so no colouring was needed..... Oh, I becoming so lazy these days...lol. .... put it down to the weather.. hehehe.  The paper I am sure is from a DCVW paperpack.  Balloons are made from funky foam cut out with Sizzix paddle punches.  The challenges covered today are:-

One Idea - Two Cards

Good evening to my lovely followers.  Sorry I have not been on for a couple of days.  Full of good intentions, but never managed to get to the dining room table to play!!!  I hope you all had a lovely weekend.  I was playing nurse maid to Barry who had "Man-Flu", and I discovered yet again, I have not got the right patience for being a nurse ....lol .... I will have to teach myself tolerance ... how do I do that??? .. lol.

So to help compensate my lack of TLC, I let Barry take me shopping (yes, he was well enough to do that!!!)......and gasp!! ...... I know, I must have been feeling really REALLY guilty for me to go to the shops ... and what did we come back back with ......... a new bed!! ......... if Baza had his way, it would have been one of those fancy electric adjustable ones with the flip-up TV screen in the footrest... lol.

My one idea over the weekend was to make to use one of my many Sizzix dies that of late have been left abandoned in a box under the stairs since I have fallen in love with rubber stamping and try and create something with them and here are the results.....

Along with the Sizzix House die, I have used 2 Cuttlebug embossing folders (Swiss Dots and another).  Design paper from scrap pile.  Ribbon, brad and charm from stash.  Circle stamped sentiment is from Lili of the Valley.  The challenges covered on this card are:-

This card has been made similar - but different (if that makes any sense!!!) I was trying to make it look more masculine by not using any DP's and using straight lines instead of any curves.  The ribbon and sentiments are from stash.  The challenges covered on this card are:-

This is a Forever Friends 3D Elements.  The DP are a mixture of The English Paper Co. and Papermania.  The challenges covered are:-

I am still working my way through my scrap pile, but I know this paper is from Papermania.  The hearts are Sizzixlits diecuts.  Ribbon, bow and sentiment are from stash.  Also used my MS lace border punch.  The challenges covered:-

Evening peeps, back again with my second post of the day....... and I spoke too soon earlier .......... the snow is still here, and worse ......... it has started snowing again ....... Argh!!!!  We are meant to be going out later but me sees a wee change of plan coming on ... hehehe.

Anyway, I have a batch of male cards to contend with next, so this is the first of many to come.  The recipient of this one is actually a 37 year - boys and their toys eh!!!  I love these images from Lili of the Valley, they come ready coloured so ideal for a quick card.  (also helped decide the colour combo ...lol).  The checked paper is very old stash hanging around the scrap drawer since year dot.  The charm I got a while back from "The Works" shop.  The circle stamped sentiment is new stash from LOTV.  The challenges covered are:-

Double Trouble

Here's to waking up to another wintry weekend, the snow arrived overnight but hopefully it will disappear as quickly as it arrived (fingers crossed).  With going back on work on Wednesday, it looks like I am back to being a weekend crafter - Boo hoo!!!  I have decided that one of my New Year's Resolutions is for me to be more organised with making my own families cards (we shall see how long this will last! ....lol)  and looking at the calender I have two of by niece's birthdays in January and ...... Hey Presto!!! - done.

I have cut out my own toppers with my trusted Nesties from a used shop bought birthday card .  Texture been added by using a couple of my Cuttlebug embossing folders (surprise, surprise).  Sentiments printed off computer, Flowers, brads, ribbon and peel off numbers are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Baby Boy Card

Good evening to you lovely peeps.  It has been my last day of my holidays and I have had the chore of taking down the Christmas decorations and moving everything back to their normal places - now it looks so bare!!!!  plus, I have realised that I seriously need to do some painting/DIY downstairs...lol.  Back to work tomorrow and would you believe it - a local weather warning for snow & ice is in place!!!  Arrrrrrgh!!! Thought we had seen the back of that white stuff for a least a few more weeks...pants!

Anyway, back to nicer things.....  The image is just too cute, he is from Lili of the Valley.  Check paper from scrap drawer (have been trying to use these scraps up but they are never ending... does everyone have the same problem?) and  ...... YES ....... a Cuttlebug embossing folder used.  Ribbon and plastic tab thingy from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Henry Mouse

Good evening peeps, back on with another card made today.  I'm afraid the photograph isn't the greatest as the light in the house is quite dull.  I never got as much done as I had planned - typical!!! ... lol

The image is Henry Mouse from Whiff of Joy.  The design papers are from DCVW.  The heart diecut is from Sizzixlits, flowers and pearl brad are from stash and I have used my MS leaf punch and a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Happy New Year

I know I am a couple of days late.... lol.... but that is just me I'm afraid, always chasing my tail... lol..  Hope you lovely peeps saw 2011 in with a bang!!!  and that's it done for another year,  kinda glad to be getting back to some kind of normality (whatever that is .... hehehe).  I don't go back to work until Wednesday so I am treating myself to a day of playing with some new stuff I have.

The image is from Sugar Nellie which I have forgotten I had,  The embossing is one of my new Cuttlebug embossing folders I have (well, you all know by now peeps that I cannot resist a embossing folder or two...lol).  The design papers are from by scraps drawer so not sure where from.  Sticky ribbon is from Papermania which I have had for many a year, as are the bubble embellishments.  The sentiment is also one I have had for ages but I thought it went so well with the image.  The challenges covered are:-
