Gone fishing

Good evening peeps hope you are all well.  It's a soggy Wednesday here in Central Scotland, not a great surprise to be honest, it would be nice to see what the sun looks like from time to time though...lol .... My suntan from my holi-bags is fading fast as it is being washed away, never mind only 10 weeks until we are away again - this time to Rhodes - can't wait as I love Greece.

Managed to have a wee play at my table tonight while Baza is upstairs in his 'games room' playing on the playstation and talking to his cyber-pals.  The image is from Lili of the Valley, papers, sentiment and brads are from stash.  Tools used are embossing folders and square nesties.  The challenges covered are:-

The one that got away...

..... well, my lost post never returned.  It is still up there in cyber-space floating around.  Not being a technical type of girl I have no idea how to get it back so I thought it best just to re-post a picture of the card.

The decoupage woman is from Paper Nation.  The backing paper from Little Claire Designs.  Sentiment printed off computer.  Other tools used are Sizzix alphabet 'Mano Tango',  Hexagonal & Oval nesties.

Wedding Card

Good afternoon peeps, hope you are all having a lovely weekend in Blogland.  The middle of June and I have had to pop the heating on - where is summer!?!  - it is wet and windy here in Central Scotland.  Such a shame too as alot of the local towns and villages close by are having their Gala days today and tomorrow.

The Brionni Trust have a stall at the Scribbler's Picnic in Stirling tomorrow and I am seriously thinking about popping out this afternoon and getting myself a pair of wellies! - come rain of shine it is always a fun day there and local reports are that Gamu (from the X Factor) is singing on the main stage.

I've have chance for a wee play at my time and made this wedding card.  The diecut bride & groom have been in my stash from year dot mounted on rectangle Nesties embossed by my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder.   Flowers, silver heart & pearl buckle are from Wild Orchid Crafts, swirls diecuts are by Marianne Creations and leaves are punches.  Sentiment, silver ribbon & pearls are all from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Celebration Time (Come on)

Good evening to all my Blogland buddies.  I must apologise for not being on a while, been a wee bitty busy of late with holidays, 40th birthdays,  helping fundraising for The Brionni Trust.  But now my social calender is slowly returning back to normal (i.e. empty ....hehe) I hopefully should be back to posting regularly again.

I was asked a few weeks ago to make a graduation card for someone qualifing to become a Podiatrist.  This City Girl stamp is from Whiff of Joy, coloured with my "the works" paints.  The little feet are made with a Sizzix Paddle Punch and handmade the scroll.  Sentiment printed of the computer and zig-zag border done with MS punch.  The challenges covered are:-

Baby Boy Stepper Card

Good evening peeps, hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend.  My lost post has never turned up - so must be lost in Cyber-Space for ever more ..... sometimes I think I end up there too.... hehehe.

I really enjoyed making this card as a had chance to experiment and play with this card, as I had never made the little baby booties as a card box before.  Also managed to get any excess aggression out by using my Sizzix duck & teddy punches and hammer... lol.

The woman and baby image is from Whiff of Joy.  Gingham paper was from stash and sentiment was printed off computer.  Other tools used where Nestibilities, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder, blue chalk ink for colouring round edges.  Liquid pearls to decorate ducks & teddies.  The challenges covered are:-

I'm afraid that is about my limit of my French.  I am hopeless at learning languages, it literally goes in one ear and out the other!! ...lol.  We are heading to Greece for our holidays in a few weeks time and the phrase book comes with me every time as I can never remember the basics from one year to the next.

The Gorjuss Girl image is from Sugar Nellie, coloured with watercolour paints.  The Designer Paper is from K & Co.  The Eiffel Tower & suitcase diecuts are from stash, as are the camera brad and air mail stamp.  Sentiment circle stamp is from Lili of the Valley.  Tools used were my new Marianne Creations diecuts.  The challenges covered are:-

Which Doctor?.........

Well, I rather liked George Clooney as Dr Ross, or Richard Chamberlain as Dr Kildare, but I like my favourite still has to be David Tennant as Doctor Who  (although Matt Smith is doing a fabby job at the moment too!!!).  I'm more a Sci-Fi geek freak than a slushy smooth talker fan and I would like a wee hurle is the T.A.R.D.I.S. anytime to face the Darleks or the Cybermen.

I have had this stamp from Whiff of Joy for ages and finally have managed to make a card with him.  Quite a simple card with lots of embossing with my Cuttlebug folders using up some plain white and blue card stock. Inking round the edges with a red chalk ink. I don't have a Get Well sentiment stamp so used some peel-offs.  Other tools used was a Martha Stewart border punch and Oval Nesties.  The challenges covered are:-
