Male Card

Good evening my lovely peeps.  Hope you have all by now looked out your best hat for the Royal Wedding tomorrow.  I have booked my seat in front of the TV and Barry is heading off to the golf course, might even have a Pimms or two in celebration .....hehehe.

This card is made for one of the guys at work whose birthday is this weekend.  The fire engine is decoupaaged.  The handyman image is from a Claire Curd stamp set from Papermania.  Sentiment printed from computer.

Hello again

I have been playing and managed to make this card so far.  I am blogging just now before I forget and before the daylight disappears to take photo.  For a change I decided to do a A5 card instead of a square card as not done one for ages - too comfy doing square me thinks, hehehe - and I must admit I was struggling with this one, alot of flower shuffling around the paper was done!.

The image is an Elizabeth Bell one from Sugar Nellie, coloured with my watercolour pencils.  Backing paper is from a DCVW Spring Stack.  Flowers are from a stash, as is the fabric butterfly.  Sentiment is from a DCVW quote sticker stack.  Tools used on the card were my Nestie Swirly template thingies.  The challenges covered are:-

Magnolia Baby Boy Card

Good morning peeps hope all in well out there in Blogland..  Spent a lovely afternoon yesterday with family and they were even brave enough to stay for dinner and sample some of my homemade cooking.  (not checked-up on the day yet to see if they ok....hehehe).  Today we were originally planning to have a wee day trip somewhere, but with a change of plan I am now hoping for a day of crafting at my table... lol ...  (my arm really needed twisted there didn't it!).

Coloured this fabby Baby Edwin image with my watercolour paints (still going strong for over 5 years - not bad for only £2.99 from The Works)  The blue ducky paper is a small leftover piece from my scrap drawer.  Little ducky brad is from stash and sentiment printed off computer.  Tools used were Swiss Dots & Little One embossing folders from Cuttlebug and my Oval Nesties.  The challenges covered are:-

Spring has Sprung

Hello peeps.  It has been glorious sunshine here the last few days.  I will just start getting used to it and then it will go back to our usual weather - rain!¬ ......lol.  The last few days I have been spoilt rotten as it was my birthday and my lovely work buddies had got me a new paper cutter!  Woop woop - was so needing a new one, so no more raggedly edges...lol.  So today I am having a holiday and a chance to play.

Love this Tilda image from Magnolia, used my watercolour pencils to colour her.  The flowers, ribbon, brads, gems and sentiment are from stash.  Also used are my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossinng folders.  The challenges covered are:-
I am hoping to make a few more today though I am sorely tempted to spend some time outside and catch up on some vitamin D.

    Lazy Sunday Afternoon

The weather has been glorious here all weekend so I'm afraid I haven't done match crafting - one card in two days to be exact!!.  I have been pottering about the garden and the house - it's been great!!!  Had a mini spring clean upstairs and managed to gather 2 black bags full of stuff to hand in to one of the local charity shops.  Did a wee bit of weeding in the back garden followed by a lot of sitting in the garden watching the world go by and admiring my handy work!! ....lol.  Washing Basket completely empty - Yay!!.  Ironing basket full to the gunnel's - Boo!!

The image is from LOTV, The backing paper is from DCVW Spring Paperstack.  Flowers, sentiment and ribbon are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

    Wedding Card

Evening folks.  Looks like I'm having to dig the wellies back out the cupboard as we have been issued with a weather warning here for the next few days.  I think it is partly my fault as I had secretly done a rain dance at the weekend (to save me doing some tidying up in the garden ...lol) .... serves me right.

The FF image is actually a piece of scrap card which I have "Nestied".  Charm and sentiment are from stash.  Also used is my Cuttlebug Swirl embossing folder, Martha Stewart Daisy border punch and some blue Liquid Pearls.  The challenged covered are:-

Good evening campers, how are we all???  Hope you all enjoyed your weekends, they seem to whizz past so quickly these days. Had a lovely relaxing day yesterday, my two wee cherubs managed to get their paws on some flowers and a bottle of wine to give me for Mother's Day - lovely.  They are still not getting away with not wearing their jingly bells to help warn the birdies that they are out and about!!! ...lol.

The image is from Penny Black,  roses and Card Kandi's are from stash.  Also used are my Oval Nesties and Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

    Happy Mothers Day ...............

to all you lovely mums whether it be to young kids, adult kids, gran kids or four-legged kids.  Hope you all are having a well deserved day of pampering and fussing over.  My two tearaways let me have a lay in this morning - they jumped on and annoyed Barry instead of me to let them out at 5am ....lol

The image is from Penny Black.  Backing papers are from various paperpacks by Papermania.  Also used are Card Kandies, funky fibres and a sentiment printed off computer.  The challenges covered are:-

This is another card I did last night.  The image is one I must have got in a swap so I'm afraid I don't know who it is by.  The DP is from a DCWV Spring paperstack.  Also used was a Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-
I am hoping to play at my table day so fingers crossed I shall be back on later with my creations.
