Umbrella - ella - ellla....

Good evening peeps, back again with my second post of the day.  I apologise in advance about the poor quality of photos - the camera ran out of batteries - boo hiss!!!.    Peace is shattered as that is Baz back from the footie in a happy mood as his team didn't get beat (didn't win either...hehehe).

I had my first go at paper piecing, and it was surprising easier than I had imagined.  The image is a Miss Anya from the Greeting Farm.  Design papers are from K & Co. Circular sentimental stamp from LOTV.  Ribbon and charm from stash.  Also used was my MS border punch and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.  The challenges covered on this card are:-

Baby Girl Card

Good sunny afternoon to you all.  It is starting to feel a bit more like Spring this weekend - Hooray!!!  Next door neighbour's garden is starting to flower.  Her garden always puts me to shame - green fingers I had not got (unless covering with green glitter or paint!! ....hehehe).   I am home alone today with Baza away to the footie so a wee chance to play!!!.

This is one of Sugar Nellies Homegrown range of stamps.  Design papers are from scrap box, flowers and pearls are from stash, sentiment printed off computer.  The challenges covered are:-

Music makes the world go round........

Hello, hello, hello, peeps and a happy weekend to you all.  Should really put a health warning on this sight saying *stay away* as I am still choked with this horrid cold., now I can't hear right and my taste buds are all to pot...lol.  However, to cheer myself up I have booked our summer holiday to Corfu for May - yay!!  - Sunshine here I come!!!.

This is the first time I have tried making one of these fancy type of cards an it was surprising quite easy to do.  The music background was done by using my PB stamp.  The musical round toppers are from Kanban and I cut out black and gold mirror circles using my Nesties and matt & layered them together to look like a record and stuck the drums topper onto it.  Musical notes are Sizzixlits diecuts.  Sentiment is prinrted off computer.  The challenges covered are:-

Double Trouble

Evening peeps, popping on quickly to post as feeling a bit sorry for myself - I have a cold - sniff!!!.  Had been hoping to escape not catching one this winter, but alas, it was not to be.  Sore throat, cough, runny nose - the works - so not been in the mood to do much crafting.

I have used two Gorjuss Girls images from Sugar Nellie, painted them with my watercolour paints (£2.99 from the Works),  Flowers, pearls and lettering stickers are from stash.  Also used are my Nesties, embossing folders and MS leaf punch.  The challenges entered are:-

Fruit or Sponge?........

..........I like the good old fashioned fruit cake myself, with the break-my teeth hard icing...lol.  Though, I'll not turn my nose up at piece of sponge cake with the soft fondant icing either.... I'm not fussy... lol..... as my waistband can vouch for.

This is a bit of ribbed card I had laying about in my scrap box.  Decorated my 'cake' with some liquid pearls, flowers and a diecut heart all from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Male Card

Afternoon peeps, sorry I have not been on for a while, just not had chance to be honest.  Hopefully I can make it up today as I am planning a little play at my table and fingers crossed I can be more productive than I was last week.

It is male card madness in my family over the next few months so I am trying to be ahead of myself.  The decoupage sheet of cars I got at the SECC Craft fair back in October but I don't know which stall.  The rest of bits of card, ie,  Silver Card Candy, sentiment and black peel-offs are from stash.  The challenges covers are:-
