New Baby

Morning peeps,  horrid weather again today so it's a day for staying in and crafting,  luckily we have not been 'hit' too badly with Storm Frank,  thinking about others who have though,  been keeping myself upto date from Social Media and the inter web.

It is ages since I have used this stamp from Forever Friends,  coloured with watercolour pencils.  The checked paper is a scrap piece out of scrap drawer.  Card Candi from stash.  Tools used was Swiss Dots embossing folder and My Favourite Things Stitched rounded square die cuts.  The challenges covered are:-

See you Latte Stepper Card

Afternoon peeps, hope you all had a Merry Christmas and wishing all the very best for 2016.  Thinking especially about friends caught up in the bad flooding in the north of England and the Scottish Borders.

I never quite fulfilled my 2015 New Years resolution of blogging more, so I am going to set myself the same task again...lol..  I am also really rubbish at taking photos of my cards, so I am going to try and approve my photo skills too...  (This photo not applicable..lol).

This card is made up of various bits and bobs, the boutique scene is a topper from Hunkydory, the stamped image is from Whiff of Joy, the diecut table and chairs are from Crafters Companion, diecut fence from stash, sentiment is printed off computer and tools used was a brickwork effect embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

  • Allsorts Challenge - Anything but Christmas
  • Cute Card Thursday - Anything Goes
  • Sweet Stampin' - Food/Drink
  • Crafting Muskateers - Use a Sentiment
  • Cards Galore - Anything Goes

Christmas joy

Evening peeps,  how is everyone doing, hope no one gas been caught up in the terrible flooding that has been occurring across the country.  Our road was closed for a couple of days and luckily the water didn't creep anywhere never the house.  I have just been caught up in the commuter traffic with the Forth Road Bridge being closed, what usually is an half hour journey is turning into an over an hour journey.  But hey-ho, can't complain, I just get to sing like a wailing cat in the cat for longer...lol.

I was asked to make this card for a wee boy that loves his cars, so I adapted this Lili of the Valley stamped image to suit.  I made my own tree decorated with tinsel ribbon and gems.  The diecut snowflakes are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-
