Christmas Time

Morning peeps.  Why is it that I struggle to raise my head of the pillow during the week for work but at the weekend, when I have a chance for a lie in, that I am wide awake really early...typical..lol..

I have had to make a start on Christmas cards as our two big sales coming up at the end of October so not long at all.  The reindeer is an embossed image from Sizzix and then I have tried to colour him itch a metallic gold pen.  The papers are from a paperback from Docrafts.  The white poinsettia and heathers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, the velvet black ribbon is from stash decorated with a diecut buckle.  The stamped circle sentiment is from Lili of the Valley and the oval diecut is from Docrafts. Shopping Anya

Evening folks, hope you all had a good weekend.  I had a lazy one, recharging the batteries.  On the countdown to the holidays, less than two weeks to go - woo hoo - Greece here we come!  Looking forward to the sunshine as the weather has turned here.  This is a nice bright card made with a Miss Anya stamp from the Greeting Farm coloured by my whisper pens.  The backing papers are from K & Co, the sentiment, ribbon and charm are from my stash.  Tools used are oval nesties and an embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Sew..... A needle pulling thread

Afternoon peeps,  not sunny here so I'm having a pyjama day and not planning to venture out the door today.  A have a few birthday cards to make so it is the perfect day to make a start.  This one is for my dear mum, whose birthday is actually arrives when we are away on holiday so we will have a wee birthday bash before we go.

I have made this double easel card using lots of sewing diecuts bought off eBay years and years ago.  The backing backs were free from a crafty magazine.  Tools used were my scalloped square and oval Nesties as well as a square label Nestie.  The challenges covered are:-

Take it Easy

A lovely sunny Sunday morning to you lovely peeps.  The farmers have been working all through the day and night bringing in the harvest.  It was actually quite therapeutic listening to the harvesters working away in my bed.  Barry MADE me go shopping yesterday - boo, I didn't buy anything, he managed to get himself a top and then we went for a cheeky wee bar lunch.

A lovely CAS card to start the weekend following the sketch from Sketch & Stash, stash being the sentiment and ribbon.  The image I am not sure if it is a Penny Black or Forever Friends.  Tools used are my Swiss Dots embossing folder and rectangle Nesties.  The challenges covered this morning are:-
