Apologies.......

I feel really guilty that I have not been visiting Blogland of late.  I have been busy trying to do wee bits and pieces for the Christmas Fair for The Brionni Trust which we have a stall on the 20th of this month.  The feeling of not enough hours in the day is upon me and I am getting nowhere fast!!! ....... lol....  serves me right for having bright ideas and not enough pairs of hands.  To add to that, I have never had such a hectic social life for ages....lol.... so out of practice of getting the old lipstick, powder & paint on!!! ...lol.  This weekend is a quiet one (thank goodness!) so I am SOOOO looking forward to relaxing and hopefully making at least a couple of challenge cards.

One of the lovely girls I work beside is finishing up next week to start her maternity leave so I made this card for the work place to sign.  It was the first time I have made an A4 size card so it was a big challenge for me to try and scale everything up!!!.  The hardest task though was to get an A4 size envelope!  Just managed to get one last weekend at the Craft Fair, Glasgow - talk about cutting it fine!! ....lol.

The Mum-2-be body template was one a fellow crafter had emailed me but it was alot smaller so after a bit of jiggerly-pokerly I managed to enlarge it to the right size.  The poem was also one a fellow crafter had given me which I have used before.  The DP is from a DCVW paper stack and ribbon and flowers are from stash.

I couldn't resist not having a stamp somewhere on the card, so I popped this fabby stamp from High Hopes on the inside bottom corner.  I do hope she likes it.  She has also just moved into their own wee house too, so life is a bit hectic for her at the moment.  This is a card one of the other girls had asked me to make for her.

It is just quiet simple using a Sizzix die, Nestabilities and a Cuittlebug embossing folder.  I tried to used quite funky colours (Shocking Pink - Black - White) but the photo doesn't show them that well.

Hugs
