My Time to Craft

Evening peeps. Just popped on with a card for My Time to Craft which is Christmas. I know it seems early but I have loads to make for the Christmas Fayres for the Brionni Trust.

So out comes the good old faithful Santa stamp, which I still adore. Papers are DCVW, snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder and diecut snowflake.

Truly Scrumptious

Evening all folks. Hope you are all well in blogland. Thought I would quickly nip on while the footie is on (Scotland getting beat 3.0 against Norway.....there's a surprise......lol). The challenge over at Truly Scrumptious is a fabby sketch by the lovely Mina.

One of my gorgeous niece's is turning 18 next month - eek, where does the time go and I think this Miss Anya is just her. Decorated my little punched flower myself with a silver pen (quite chuffed.....lol).

Oh well, back to my headphones on so I can block-out the shouting at the TV that Baza is doing. How come the phrase "It's only a game" never goes down well at times like this.......psml.

Just Magnolia, Stamp with Fun & Secret Crafter

Afternoon peeps, I'm back again with another card with a few challenges thrown in. This card I have made is for Lisa at work's little girl, Emily. I can't believe that she will be a year old next month, same day as my own mum's birthday.

I love this little girl image from Magnolia and I have coloured her using my paints. The paper is from Dovecraft. Flowers, gems and butterfly are from stash.

I have been sorting out holiday clothes this afternoon and having a good old laugh at trying to get into tops, dresses, skirts and trousers (wishful thinking that I could slip back into a size 8 pair of cut offs and a skirt business suit I used to wear about 16 years ago....lol) So two black bag full of clothes are ready to be taken to the charity shop. I can however, fit back into 2 dresses so they will be going with me, just to get a suitcase...lol.

Charisma Cardz, ABC & Paperplay challenges

Morning everyone, I have a sleepy head on today as I was up late playing. I was asked to make a well done card for a male by one of the girls at work. I find it so hard to make male cards.

I used the Forever Friends stamp with the Champagne bottle and different papers from scrap drawer. I used an embossing folder to add some texture to the card.

I should be getting organised for by holli-bags today is this is my last day off before I go (23rd) but I can't get motivated.

Sketch Saturday

Helloooooo!!! everyone, especially my new followers, welcome. Hope everyone has had a fantastic weekend. Never guess that the football season has started so while it is on the TV I managed to do a couple of cards at my table.

This one today is for Sketch Saturday challenge, with a lovely sketch to work with, and with another wedding anniversary card to make for one of my dear friends, it seems perfect.

I used a Penny Black mouse stamp, hearts Cuttlebug embossing folder, backing papers are Papermania and flowers, brads and sentiments are from stash.

Lovely award from Nikki

Afternoon everyone. Just come back from Stirling, shopping and have survived. Managed to do 5 shops .......lol........didn't have a good start though, as thought the shops opened at 10am - nope, they opened at 11am.

I have received this award from the lovely Nikki and before I pass it onto 5 people I have to list 5 things I like...........so here goes....

1. I love spending time with family and friends.............earning brownie points
2. I like Star Wars and Doctor Who.........sad, I know
3. I like the odd glass of red wine now and again
4. My favourite meal is a fish supper (with chips) and curry sauce

Back in the Chain Gang

Evening Campers. Have you missed me 'coz I have certainly missed you lovely lot! I have not been anywhere (yet) but instead been up to no good.....hehehe.

I have been asked to do a card for Lisa, a girl from work, to give to her friend's little girl who is turning two nest week. I had never used Daisy with dolly before. Papers are from scrap drawer and flowers etc... are from stash.

One Stop - Swirls & Pearls

Hello again, back to plan I hope again, the challange over at One Stop Craft - "Pearls & Swirls" was so handy for me this week as I had to make a card for my father and step-mother's 30th (Pearl) Wedding Anniversary.

I think that this is an Anita's stamp which was one of the first stamps I bought, I painted it with my watercolour paints then 3D glossed over it. Used Cuttlebug Swirls and Swiss Dots embossing folders and popped on some pearls (plastic) ramdomly.

Sugar Bowl - doodling

Evening folks, back again. Got side tracking into making a Christmas card this afternoon. The challenge over at the Sugar Bowl is a sketch incorporating doodling.

I have not used this Nellie stamp for ages so I thought I would dig her out. The papers are all from my scrap pile. Ribbon, brads etc... are from stash.

I am officially on my three week holiday countdown and should be starting to get organised. Got our tickets yesterday and, yes, have doubled-checked passports and they are OK. I so hate packing, I usually just end up throwing everything bar the kitchen sink in the case and I ALWAYS forget something. One time a few days into the holiday we realised that we hadn't locked the back door!!!!........lol

Afternoon peeps again, well Indiana Jones managed to come up trumps again and now watching the football:) ......don't ask.......force of habit I suppose.

One of my dear friends' wedding anniversary is coming up this month so I thought I better get in the good books and actually send them a card this year instead of remembering a fortnight too late...lol.

Used the ducks from Penny Black, paper from DCVW spring stack, ribbon, flower dome stickers, bow and hearts from stash.

Forever Friends

Good afternoon and hope everyone is having a nice relaxing weekend. I certainly am planning to and I have started with the sketch over at Forever Friends. I have a mountain of cards to make for sending to my own family and friends so this is me off the mark.

I have used one of the Forever Friends Elements and paperscraps out my drawer. Cuttlebug embossing folder and peeloffs from stash.

I am home alone at the moment so I am having an Indiana Jones Day while I am playing at the table!
