Sad post.  After a lot of deliberation I have decided to move Cozy Frog across to Facebook.  This is due to many a frustrated hour trying to post on Blogger. However I shall keep it open as you never should say never.

Please feel free to come and visit Cozy Frog Crafts and like and follow my new page.  Thank you for your support over the years.

Love and hugs

Bowled Over

Evening everyone.  Back again two days in a row.  Just sharing this commissioned card I have made. It is very similar to one I had made a while back with a female bowler. These Flippin' decoupage figures from La Pashe are ideal and I use the 'B' side as part of the insert.  The other parts of the scene are made of of diecuts and papers.  The challenges entered are:-

Stepper Card

Afternoon peeps, hope you all are enjoying the weekend.  I am half way through my Course and not got another module now until October so this weekend I have enjoyed playing at my table and stroking my crafts supplies.  Lol. Xx

I have had these concept card kits from Hunkydory for ages and ages and wasn't too fussy on them as they are meant to be completed so I deceided to have an experimental to so what I could do with them.  In the end I created a middle stepper Card, putting each element on a different step and then decorated the marble card with Diecut flowers and leaves.

The challenges covered today are:-

Best Wishes

Afternoon peeps, hope you are enjoying your Sunday.   I have wasted my day attempting to do jobs and got no where.  Spent most of my day shouting at the pc for not saving a document I was working on (not my fault of course!). Followed by shouting at the printer for running out of ink, how can this be when meant to be on this "instant ink" scheme.  After a hour wrestling on the help site, discovered they had sent me ink and was sitting under the computer desk.  Having finally trying to do anything constructive after failing to get renewal quotes for the car insurance.
I made this card during the week while de-stressing.  I am really busy just now travelling up and down the country with work, so needed a bit of playtime while watching the footie one night.

Not stamped and coloured for a while so very therapeutic.  Coloured a few images will a plan to use them on this simply layout.  Loving the strip of tartan, plus it is using up my scraps leftover from my lifts (see a previous post).  The challenges covered today are:-

Cute Card Thursday - embossing
Southern Girls - add some stamping
Stamping Sensations- anything goes

Just a Note

Afternoon all, just a small post as I am having issues posted on my iPad.  Does anyone else having this issue, the app keeps closing itself! Grrrr.....

Having a lazy day today, done some of my after course work and some housework so just an afternoon watching the golf on the telly.

Anyway, made this card as part of a card swap, first time I had partaken in one.  I had used this image from Penny Black and embelllished the card with various flowers, gems and ribbons.  The challenges entered today are:-

Kilt Notepads

Evening peeps.    Long time no see......lol....  Apologies for not being on for a while, unfortunately life gets in the way.    I have been studying for my course at work, been on holiday and generally just pottering about.

It is that time already for making up stocks for Christmas stalls for The Brionni Trust.  This year I am making mini Notepads.  This is one of the designs with a Scottish kilt.  I have not entered into any challenges for a while, so here goes:-

One Tequila, Two Tequila.....

lol Happy Easter everyone!

Hope all is well in Blogland, not been on for a while.  Not so much from the loss of Mojo, more due to work commitments.

However I was asked to make a 50th Birthday card, so I had a excuse for a play.   The image is a digistamp from Bugaboo.  The animal print felt was bought from Hobbycraft.  The sentiments printed off computer and decorated with green gems.  Nesties circles and scallops were used.  The challenges covered are:-

Birds

Morning peeps, hope all is well in Blogland.  Apologies for not posting for a while.  Unfortunately can only play these days at the weekend.

Today I am finding Blogger a wee bit temperamental, so this is a quick post before he decides to throw me out again.  Challenges today are:-

Hearts & Heather

Evening peeps, hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend.  Mine started tonight as I am having a cheeky day off tomorrow- woohoo.

I have not blogged for a few weeks as had a few things on at the weekends and I was stuffed with the cold another week so not made any new cards.  This is an unblogged commissioned card I had made a few months ago.  As you can guess it was for a Scottish wedding and since we have just recently celebrated Burns Night and Valentines is just round the corner, I thought it was a good enough time to post.

The Diecut hearts are from Sizzix, decorated with various gems and tiny bows from Hobbycraft.  Tartan paper is actually wrapping paper.  Heather and other flowery things are from Wild Orchid Crafts.  Sentiment printed off computer.  The challenges covered are:-

Love is in the Air

Good evening my lovelies, hope you all had a lovely weekend.  I don't know if it is just me, but Blogger has been playing up.  Over the weekend I was trying to leave comments on everyone's wonderful creations but I kept getting throw back messages saying My comment was blocked.  It is getting really annoying and for some reason Blogger don't seem to be an app anyone on the Apple Store.   Can anyone recommend another app to use on my iPad.

We are starting to come into the season of Love and Romance, I have been making some Wedding and Anniversary cards.  This one is made using a Penny Black stamp, backing paper I think, is from a Lili of the Valley card kit.  The heart dies it are cut from a Hobbycraft die.  Pearls, peel offs and sentiment are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

I have used this stamp many times, and still love it,  coloured with watercolour paints. The checked pattern paper is a scrap piece out of drawer.  Tools used are Nesties and dotty embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Butterflies

Evening folks, hope you all had a lovely weekend.   I have a wonderful weekend but back to the grindstone today, stuck in traffic.... Fellow drivers must think I'm nuts as I sit in the traffic queues sitting along to the radio in my own wee bubble.....lol

Made this card, but in hindsight, wish I had used pearlised card as I think it would had made it so much better.  The lovely worded stamped sentiment is from Little Claire Designs.  The Diecut butterfly is from Marianne Designs.  Other tools used is Nesties and embossing folders. Various sized clear gems for decorations.  The challenges covered are:-

Monster Time

Good Sunday morning peeps, hope everyone is having a good weekend.  I had a wonderful night last night at my nieces pantomine, Jack & the Beanstalk.  It was fabulous, all the kids should be proud of themselves.

I used this stamp but can't remember where is is from, sorry.   I am not sure if it is a dragon or a crocodile, be for this card I shall do for a dragon...lol.  It is coloured with watercolour paints and decorated with Stickles.  There is only one balloon in the image but I have added Diecut balloon's to make a bunch and added some peel off numbers.  Tools used were embossing folders and Nestie dies.  The challenges covered this morning are:-

Let it Snow

Evening folks - it's Friday!   Whoop-whoop.  Looking forward to the weekend as I am going to see my niece perform in her Pantomine (see previous post) tomorrow night.  Hoping to play this weekend at my table as I need to make a few cards.

Made this card using Edwin Snowman from Magnolia, one of my old favourite stamps.  The snowflake backing paper is from scrap drawer.  Snowflake diecut is from Marianne Creatables.  Tools used is my snowflake embossing folder.  The challenges covered this evening are:-

Panto Time....... Oh yes it is!...

Evening peeps, hope everyone is surviving the weather.  We have had a covering of snow but nothing to get panicked about.

It was one of my nieces 12th birthday on Tuesday and she is currently performing in the pantomine at the Alloa Town Hall.  Yes, you've guessed it - Jack and the Beanstalk.

I had great fun making this card and I used so many different bits and bobs from my stash that if you want to know anything about any part of it, just ask.

Because it is a mis-mash of elements I am entering it into anything goes challenges and they are:-

Coffee Time

Evening peeps,  quick post tonight as will have to try and get myself organised for going back to work tomorrow.  How quick does 10 days go by .......   Oh well, it's only 4 months until Easter for my next long weekend...lol.... not that I am counting.

I have used the cute City Girl stamp from Whiff of Joy as it fitted nicely to the challenge across at Stamping Sensations.   Used papers out my scrap drawer (which is never going down!) and embossed sentiment from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

New Beginnings

Afternoon folks, enjoying a lazy day.   Have taken down the Christmas decorations this morning, the house looks so bare now. Might as well get the holiday blues over and done with today instead of tomorrow as back to work on Wednesday.

This is a card I had made a while ago when a former work colleague had twin girls.  Double easel cards are perfect for this occasion I think.  The stamp is from Forever Friends, dotty paper as from scrap drawer.  Something new is the large pearls and flowers.  Sentiment and ribbon are from stash.  Tools used are various Spellbinder dies and dotty embossing folder.  The challenges covered today are:-

Happy New Year

Well, I failed miserably on Last Years Resolutions, so I am not making any for 2017.  I should know by now, that best made plans often go out the window and the 2016 ones certainly did.

One of the big changes I had in my life last year, was a change of Job.  Still with the same emergency service but a more challenging role, new location and hopefully the prospect of qualifications at the end.  On the down side is that I have less time to craft due to the longer travel time and my brian being pickled with all the new information it is taking on board.  When I have been making cards, that have usually been quick cards and were not good enough to blog.

Over the festive season, I have had chance to relax and play at my table which I have really enjoyed and missed.  Hopefully, going forward, I can find a balance between work, study and play.

Anyway, enough prattling on, this is a card I have made following a few challenges.  The hedgehogs are Penny Black clear stamps with I coloured and added some Stickles to their scarves.  The backing paper is scrap from an old Papermania paperback, sentiment is a Hunkydory one and snowflake is a Sizzix diecut.  Tools used was my snowflake embossing folder. The challenges covered are:-
