Evening you lovely people in Blog land, I hope everyone is well and looking forward to the weekend (I'm working - Boo Hiss). I have had a charming day off today. Firstly I am a Auntie again (for the 15th time) to a lovely little niece - Hannah Rose - born yesterday fit and healthy then I went to see another little niece, Ellie-Pie (Pinkle's wee lassie) at her nursery performance of Scottish Songs & Rhymes. She was brilliant. Then I spend the afternoon at my table playing and made a couple of creations of my own (Cards - NOT babies lol).
I used 'Penpal' stamp which I think is fab.
Welcome to my own little bubble of cyber-space dedicated mostly to card crafting and just a little bit of talking nonsense!!!!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge - Week33 - Frame It
I hope everyone is well in Blog land. I haven't been up to much this week so nothing exciting to report. Our electric fire in the living room has given up the ghost so crafting with icicles off your nose is a wee bit tricky, however, I have done a couple of the last few days.
This first one is my attempt at the Penny Black Saturday Challenge, the theme was to 'Frame It'. So I framed the two wee bumble bees with love hearts, arr, bless. Let me tell you, this task got my mind buzzing.
I used Penny Black Stickeroo's, Sizzix heart shapes & paper from DCVW. The tacky strap line I made up myself with peeloffs. I also made the following cards this week, one was going to be for another challenge but yet again I read it wrong. Good job in a sense as they wanted me to 'link' my blog to theirs and me knows nothing on how to do that. lol. I have got this far by luck! Usually things electric either explode, melt or disintegrate in my hands. lol.I used a Magnolia stamp, shaped brads & a Cuttlebug embossing folder.
This one I have made for my big sis, hope I haven't done over-kill on the flower. lol.

Penny Back Saturaday Challenge - Week 30 - 'Dotty'
Hi everyone in Blogland, hope everyone is well. I've had a lovely Sunday. Was at a Christening this morning for the lovely Emily (workmate's daughter), she was as good as gold and didn't cry one bit all the way through, the wee soul. Coming home we did a slight detour to see the car that had smashed through the house in Alloa on Friday night (top news and attraction where I stay. lol) and it was still there, couldn't get phone camera to work to show you. lol. Then spent this afternoon at my table coming up with this creation to the Penny Black Saturday Challenge. The theme was 'Dotty' so I hope I managed that.
For this card I used a Penny Black Stickeroo which has a 'Dotty' Dog and 'Dotty' ladybirds. Black 'Dotty' background paper and used a Cuttlebug embossing folder which is kinda like dots. I popped a cheeky wee bowtie on the dog as he wanted to impress his Valentine!.xx
Thanks for peeking. xx

Saturday Challenge - Hearts
I must be feeling brave as I have entered myself into another challenge.
This one had to incorporate 'hearts' somewhere on it. Well I hope I managed that.
I used a pennyblack mouse image, backing paper is from Papermania and the sentiment is from DCVW. I used foam heart, gems ribbon from stash.
P.S. I'll let you in on a secret............................. I started this card for another challenge but I missed the cut-off date. pmsl. I'm still new to this you know!.........lol
Sugar Bowl #2 - Three
I so enjoyed doing the first one that here is my attempt of the 2nd challenge by The Sugar Bowl.
The challenge is to only used THREE different papers (mine are 2 from Laura Ashley & 1 plain from DCVW) and THREE embellishments (mine are jewels, paper-holder things & a sentiment).
The stamp is 'Picking Apples' which I adore and coloured in my paints from 'The Works'. I chalked around the image to give it a softer feel.

OOPS! - Nearly a big mistake
Just now I was fair proud with myself as I have just finished a card to participate into a blog challenge - now I fell like a goof-ball. lol. Story is...................... I CAN'T READ CORRECTLY!!!!!! Spoonful of Sugar challenge is paper piecing - what did I read it as? See card & guess.
Yep. You've got it - PAPER PIERCING. Doh!
Christening Card
Just popping a quick note on my blog as it was about time I updated it. Don't know where the time goes as I have been busy at work and doing a bit of overtime.
I have been invited to a Christening this Sunday. A girl at the work is having her wee girl, Emily, christened - Bless - so I have been tinkering up at my table trying to make a couple of cards just in case the other girls at work need one. I didn't think it would be so hard to try and make different cards for the same person look different. (lol - even with a few glasses of vino).
I have popped them on my gallery on the Docrafts website but have put one on here which is my favourite at the moment (keep changing mind lol).
Thanks for peeking. xx
Just in case you are interested, I used a Forever Friends rubber stamp, Cuttlebug embossing folder, Bible diecut, peeloffs and butterfly from stash. xx

After a quick phone call to 'Blogger Helpline' (aka Lesley) I managed to load on my previous post - with image - (smug smile). So now I am feeling brave & will do this one myself with no safety net! Here is another one I created with the help of a bottle of wine. This is using a Sugar Nellie Stamp again.
