Bottoms Up!

Morning peeps.... Thought I'd share this quirky get well card I made yesterday.  I am so adamant this year in using up as much stuff in my stash and not buying new stuff apart from essentials.... (see how long this will last....lol)..... the colour scheme was roughly based around the sentiment which was leftover from a La Pashe decoupage sheet.  The digi image is from bugaboo, card Candi and ribbon are from stash and the patterned paper is from an old Papermania pack.  The challenges covered:-

Number 5's Alive!!!

Afternoon.... Sneaking on to blog while I am watching the snow falling, it is just very lightly but it is laying due to the ground being so cold.  I am unsure where this image is from as I have a feeling I got it in an image swap many years ago.  The papers are out of scrap drawer and the wording are stickers out of my stash.  Tools used are my Cog and Heart nesties and an embossing folder.  The challenges covered are:-

Under The Weather

Morning peeps!   Yay! It's the weekend....time to play.  The housework is nearly all done... or being ignored...lol... and I am home alone as Barry is having to work.   I made this card last night while dinner was being made - you can take from that comment that I don't cook which is partly true, I hate cooking, the petted lip comes out if I have to do anything in the kitchen...lol

When making cards for stock, I was tend to make quite CAS ones as unsure if people will be posting them.  The stamped image is one of the first ones at bought from Sugar Nellie and coloured her with my pencils.  The papers and card are just out the scrap drawer and sentiment printed from computer.  The challenges covered are:-

Thank You

Evening folks - it's Friday.... Yay!   It's been a quick week.  Hope everyone is looking forward to the the weekend.  I am going to see my niece in Panto on Sunday, looking forward to it..... Oh yes I am!  On Saturday it looks like it's going to be freezing so I think it could possibly be a day in the house doing boring houseworky things and then a wee afternoon playing up at my table listening to the football results (living the dream I know....lol)

This is a card I made to say thank you to the DJ for his time at one of our charity evenings lately.  The decoupage is out my stash That I have had for yonks and yonks and used some Card Candi to try and make some disco lights.  The background paper is from a DCVW paperback. New Grandmother Card

Evening folks,  going back to work today was quite painless, think it was the thought more than anything else.  My next days off will be the Easter weekend - not that I am counting.....lol.. Xx

Why is it always baby and anniversary cards that seem to need replenished?  Made this card with a Hero's clear stamp from a jungle animal set thingy.  Tools used is my new Tattered Lace elephant border die, round Nesties and Swiss Dots embossing folder. Ribbon from stash, dotty paper from scrap drawer, with sentiment printed off computer.   The challenges covered are:-

Evening peeps!  I have the Monday holiday blues as it is back to work tomorrow, and it make myself even more sorry for myself, I am choked with the cold.  So to try and cheer myself up a bit I have been having a final play at my table as I have a few commissioned cards to make - always leave things to the last minute...lol...

The fabulous image is Embrace, from Penny Black, she still has to be one of my favourite PB stamps.  The backing paper is from a DCWV paperpack, flowers, card Candi, ribbon and sentiment from stash.  Dies used are both Nestabilities.  The challenges used are:-

1st Christmas Card of 2016

I have shocked myself too, being this organised - it will never last! ....lol. That is all the Chrimbo decorations down and back up in the loft, hoovered and polished and back to normal for another year. the pussycats are looking at me disappointed as I have their playground away...lol ... Tough toot-toots I politely say...lol..

I got a lovely surprise this morning as I discovered I was randomly picked out the hat for a prize over at Sweet Stampin'- thank you, great start for the year.

I made this card by using part of a High Hopes Stamps (it has a Santa, Reindeer and a Snowman on it), as I have been using the reindeers for Reindeer poop, I am left with extra Santa's and Snowmen, so  I thought this sketch over at Sketch Saturday was a perfect opportunity to use some of them up.  The backing paper is from The English Paper Co.  Used a holly embossing folder and the sentiment is from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

The other half is currently watching his football team, Dundee, on the TV so I am staying out the way as it currently isn't going their way...lol.

I not used this Elizabeth Bell image a got from Funky Kits years ago when they used to stock her stamps.  Coloured her with my watercolour paints.  The backing paper is from a DCVW paperback.  Enamel dots and sentiment are from stash.  The challenges covered are:-

Happy New Year

Wishing everyone good health  and happiness for 2016!  I fell asleep before the bells and never even heard the fireworks doing off - totally zonked (and without even having a drink!).
